Did we watch the same fight? Zhang barely landed outside of the knockdown rounds. Parker had a clear victory. Must be the American bias, still sore from Parker's shutout win against Wilder. Keep the analysis in the ring, not in the clouds.

I agree, Ive watched it back twice, Like it or not, Zhang won $rounds at the very least He also scored 2 knockdowns. in a 10 round fight, thats a WIN! Most of Parkers punches were hitting the Guard.

You really need to watch the fight again. Rounds 1 and 2 were draws. Then, in Round 3, Zhang scores a knockdown. Rounds 4 and 5 were won by Parker. Rounds 6 and 7 also went to Parker. Round 8, Zhang scores another knockdown. However, a fight is won on rounds, and over the course of 12 rounds, Parker won the most. In rounds 9, 10, 11 and 12, Zhang was that gassed out, he didn’t even throw a jab, let alone anything else. Parker clearly won those remaining rounds. So no, there no robbery. Parker was the clear winner.

ok, just went back and watched the first round... clear win for zhang, not a draw... just because NOT MUCH happened in the round doesn't mean there wasn't a winner of it... zhang landed more punches and was the one going forward... why do you give it a draw when a fighter is backing up the entire round AND landing fewer punches? what metrics are you using to score rounds?

@@notimportant3686 no. Zhang landed more jabs, but Parker landed far more power punches. Overall punches landed, Parker actually landed 2% more in the first round. So, no. Not a clear win for Zhang in the first round. I scored the round a draw, but according to Compubox, Parker landed 2% more punches overall. So I think it’s fair to say that my method of scoring is far more accurate than yours.

@@CymruCelt01 no, he didn't... and zhang landed the more solid punches throughout the entire fight... i don't know if you're going by stats or what, i scored it MYSELF... i'm not swayed by the corner going "YAYAYAY" when their fighter throws a combination that lands on the gloves without any punch actually scoring... i score quantity AND QUALITY of punches and who presses the fight... for example, the 12 round they literally landed one punch each... also, please throw compubox in the trash, it is absolutely useless...

i saw 1,3,6,8 as clear rounds of zhang and there was a bunch of rounds that were just so tight or "meh" it's a coin flip... do we just want to give ALL OF THEM to parker?... if yes, then parker did win.... if even one of those goes to zhang it's impossible to have him lose the scorecards with 2 knock downs... round one was EASY to score for zhang, the fact you didn't kind of invalidates your entire opinion to me... it's the same clownery i had to deal with this week in fury/usyk, where usyk won the first 3 rounds but people are just oblivious to that fact, acting like the moon is made out of cheese

so?.... i actually scored it and they both LANDED 1 punch... but i'm assuming you are using your comment to say you gave parker 12th round... they both did nothing, but parker THREW more punches which means he was far more inefficient since like i said, they each landed only 1 punch

Parker won by majority decision. Not unanimous my dude. i felt Parker won by points, zhang kinda just stood there, that said even a tap from zhang knocks Parker down. I would love for Parker to fight Ruiz again. That one felt like home turf advantage. With that said, the rematch is going to be as dangerous

They're trying to freeze Zhang out so AJ or Fury will never have to see him. Guy was clearly robbed it is pretty simple and clear.

He knocked him down twice but was out worked , Zhang work rate was low he was doing a wilder looking for the big shot ko and not doing the constant work with those points scoring shots.

I disagree and think Parker just got it only just because he was busy and Zhang didn't do much apart from rounds 1, 3 and 8. That said, you're totally correct. They want to keep Zhang out against AJ because AJ has better boxing skills and is fitter and is a big puncher but he has a weak chin. If Joyce can't take Zhang's power then no way can AJ take it and from a south paw. Also you're correct in that AJ and the top guys would rather fight Parker...easier Anyway, close enough fight - maybe 7-5 rounds to Parker but in the next fight Zhang needs to come in at 275 lbs, improve his conditioning and follow up when he hurts Parker, which he knows he can. Parker needs to do the same, hit and and stay out of range.

ZHANG VS PARKER ,Zhang got 2 knockdowns and lost WILDER vs FURY1 , wilder got 2 knockdown and he got a draw FRANCIS VS FURY,Francis got 1 knockdown and he got a split decision lost, so that means if Francis got 2 knockdown he would have won.
