Love the Evo X. In terms of Evos, it was the one I decided to get. The true pinnacle of Mitsubishi's AWD and handling technology. The 4B11, while looked down upon, was forward progress in terms of engines in the Evo series. My favorite Evo by far.

The 4b11 doesn’t have the same heritage as the 4g63. That’s why many don’t like it. It’s been proving itself over the years though 👍🏼

I had an Evo 8, its durable engine BUT like any other engine. it'll have an issue here and there especially if its modified. Drove an Evo X, its faster, can get along speed wise with modern cars with little to no mods. Lots of cars copied Evo Xs design for their future cars lol

Always wanted an Evo 8 or 9 more than the X but after not being able to own an 8 because of my bank. I decided to look at the X and then decided to buy an x the day I went to go test drive. Have to say I love my Evo and couldn’t be more happier with my car and can’t wait to push more power in the future

The 4B11 platform is reaching Higher power goals more and more. Mitsubishi really said we gotta up the beast of the 4G63

@Pugz 03 04 are mid 20s. 05 is mid to high 20s. 06 evo 9 are 30 to 40.

Yup! If you have the engine already out, its easier to work on and you might as well go all out. FYI, keep another engine on hand that YOU are working/learning on. Great way to learn things and if you need a new engine. BAM

The previous owner did all that, all 2015 evos including the final editions never got recaros due to recalls

How much did you buy it for.

Order fender turn signals. The 2015 has the oem plug behind that ugly chrome cover. So turn signals are plug and play

I have the same evo in silver. Only one owner with 73k miles. I believe im only making like 400 minimum. Noticed that it has a stock turbo so it has cery slow acceleration compared to its power. Im not sure what to do with it mod wise. Im also toying around with the idea of selling it to buy an R34 next year when theyre legal.
