I would like to prefer you , if you are interested in mechanical then only you should select mechanical...becz it has huge hectic course ....so better to select any one of the circuital branches like CSE,MNC ,EEE ,ECE . If you are not getting CSE and MNC in any of the top 7 IIT ...then you can go for MNC of any IIT,which are just lower than top 7 IITs....I am saying MNC because it have much more scope than CSE and as it is new department, you can get MNC easier than CSE in any top IITs.....among BITs and IIT ,go for IIT

You can check previous year average package, overall package... I think Previous year MNC department of IIT Varanasi have highest average package among all departments of IIT Varanasi...

Good Evening sir/madam, I have caught up in big trouble sir/madam, I have secured 92%tile in jee mains 2023, I am participating in josaa counseling, I have got a seat in round 1 and that is nit kurukshetra eee but I don't want to go into this college as well as branch then I have decided to move for round 2 so one of my brothers said just leave don't do anything u will directly shifts to the round 2 and so on. And I left the idea about the seat I got and waited for round 2 😢But ni round 2 i haven't got any seat. I didn't understand anything please help me sir/madam what should I do🙏🙏🙏
