Yeah, Karin and Olof Dreijer can really write powerful lyrics.

I searched for this song for about 15 years (I remember that it was on tv, now I know it was a sony commercial) then I heard it when I bought cigarettes. Literally my heart started to beat fast haha, so I was standing there trying to memorize the lyrics, when the tobacconist asked me “what you want??” When I got home I listened to it like 10 times.

One thing with One Tree Hill, it always had awesome music at just the right moment. And introduced bands, and artists alot of people wouldn't have heard of before. Like Jose, or the Spill Canvas, and The Honorary Title, all awesome music thsts not played on the main music channels.

The first time I heard this I was in a foriegn country surrounded by strangers. Three months later those strangers were some of my closest friends. Thirteen years later this song still ruins me.

I consider this to be one of the greatest covers ever made, sounds so different from the original and amazing in its own way.

Because he writes / plays what he wants and not what the record companies want in order to make them money. Thus the talent goes unrecognised. At least for a while anyway. Some have made it sound this.

We had music in our lives, and we always sent each other songs. I showed Jose Gonzales to her. At the end of our LDR, I said we need God to bless our relationship, she added this song to our playlist. Then she told me she would go on a trip to think about us, when she came back 9 days later, she broke up with me a few days before we met. She was not my first, nor my second, but I never felt such pain and I never regretted meeting a person more. She had played me and cheated on that trip.

This Song is Amazing. I always close my eyes and think about all the wonderful things that are yet to come.

This feels so much of something i once had... or like a distant memory yet to be done.

How does this not have more views? One of the best covers of the "noughties" - The Knife version was great but this is just stunningly beautiful and a fantastic interpretation of it...saw José González play it live on tour in the UK in Oxford and it was incredible. Absolutely love the whole album and this is one of my favourite songs of all time.
