Amazing! Still listening in 2019. She is still so in love with him and feels broken without him. She will do anything to have him back by her side, no matter what ish he has put her thru! But, he is letting her know that if they do get back together, it will never work! So sad, but, true! A one sided love is so hurtful, so many people endure this type of pain in relationships and marriages. So unhealthy to love someone with all of your heart and soul and they don't reciprocate that same love to the other person. This could be damaging. Don't ever love someone so much, that you feel as if you are not safe without them, they are your only peace, that you are willing to forgive any and all that they have done to you mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically! This is very deep. I love, love, love this song. Jorja Smith does not get the recognition she deserves. Her talent is raw and her lyrics is so relatable. All her songs have meaning and it is saying something to someone who needs to here that at that particular time! Priceless piece of music intertwined in poetic perfection!

Sometimes it’s not always as obvious as the words. It can be other things in life they go through that keeps them apart and if she loves him that much and didn’t have any chance I don’t think she would keep trying for so long. Not everything is in black and white and so simple. Some ppl have to literally fight to be together just bc of the cards they were dealt in life and I’m sure it’s a strong powerful love if she isn’t giving up bc she knows no matter what anyone says, she knows her man! And that’s all that matters not anything else, but keep fighting for the person that completes u and knows u better than u know yourself and I’ve had this and it’s been a decade and we are still fighting to be together but I never give up hope bc we trust no one but each other and not the bs we hear from anyone else. And you all know how cruel ppl can be. BUT LOVE LIKE THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME THING! And if u find it never let it go as long as you have trust and family behind u. Then nothing else matters! ❤️💯

If you're reading this, and you haven't already "act" in a way ,already touch your life for real , already forgive the unforgivable, yourself, others...if you have only thoughts that's spinning around your head and they just have stacked in there, then really ,from the bottom of my heart ,we loosing the battle of a meaningful life. i dont listen much to jorja (i like a couple of her songs - particularly "slow down" and "the one"), but my god this is the standout for me! her and maverick sound so smooth together (i find her voice a bit jarring at times in other songs but this song doesnt have any of that),,, this is such a calm tune that seriously puts me in the feels!!! 😭❣️
