Gotta love the way he resets his feet as a passer and keeps his eyes downfield. Doesn't panic if his first read isn't open. He can definitely run, but he doesn't rely on it more than he needs to. Hopefully he can completely recover from that leg injury and get a year or two behind Aaron Rodgers to sit and learn. Whole lotta potential for the Jets to tap into here.

I think its because he got injured the previous year when he was on the race to become a heisman and they're not sold on him anymore cuz of that

Wow. He could end up being one of the most overlooked QBs in the draft. His release is so fast. Hope he has a speedy recovery. Would love to see him end up on the Broncos.

Went to my dad’s house for the N-AL game. It was heart breaking to watch his injury. I’m thankful for the time we got with Trav. Thank you for bringing us back

Can’t ask for a better situation to learn behind Rodgers and Taylor since he has a similar play style. He reminds me of Jalen Hurts. JD before the draft said he’s been studying how the packers have built quarterback. I’m excited to finally have a guy who can sit and learn from two veterans for 2 years with out being thrown to the wolves. Awesome pick and an exciting future for this jets team.

This kid has a laser cannon and is quick, fast, and looks like a td machine. Hopefully he makes a full recovery and makes a comeback as a Ny Jet.

His last highlight is the embodiment of his tape. The Arm angle, the feet, the velocity and the touch. Especially on those jump balls. This was too fun to watch

If the jets land him potential is gold status. why? one main reason he would have been in the natty plus his read & reacts is top 2 in college amid qb. He is a real winner. I hope the jets draft him he's worth a fortune of a career.

@@JustLarry315 thanks Larry, and here’s the thing-I actually work in pro sports R&D and both development and evaluation/player analysis. So, this is more a testament to your understanding of the game ability to identify talent than mine. Props. But yeah, crazy deep draft in receivers and qbs. This year, teams will burn picks on qbs and wide outs in the first round, when they can get the same talent in 2,3, probably later.

​@BasicBobby I agree so much. I've been telling everyone of my fellow Commanders fan to get a QB late. I watched most of there film and you nailed it on Leary. I also like Pratt. Much rather get MHJ or Nabers and a QB later. I just don't see the gap being that huge on film between alot the QBs.

I know I'll get hated-on but his quick release, escapability and being lethal when the play breaks down reminds me of Mahomes

Jets got a steal if he can still move like this after the broken leg.

Due to his leg injury, somebody is going to get a good QB prospect later in the draft. The Broncos may want to atleast consider it while holding onto Wilson and letting Travis recover and learn behind him.

Seems like im watching Keon Coleman highlights and not Jordan Travis highlights, but Travis is a good prospect. I wonder if he would be a better Pro if he was accurate. I think Raiders should take a look, but that injury was gruesome.

I love JT and he progressed so much from just last year. I personally don't see him being a very good NFL QB. It took him so long to get to this level as a college QB and NFL teams can't afford that luxury. The pros are he makes things happen with his legs, but his overall accuracy, especially on the deep contested balls, is pretty low, so his arm strength is lacking. His play making ability isI nice for a college level QB, but everyone is athletic in the pros and he will most likely stay injured and eventually be out of the league. I hope not, but just my take.
