I got these; same colorway as you. I'm not a basketball player, more of a shoot around type, but being a Big Celtics and Tatum fan these were a must. I was pleasantly pleased when I got them in hand and couldn't agree with your review any more. Great job!!!

My favorite shoe of 2023 so far. I feel the Zoom more the more I play in them. I'm around 245 lbs and containment is great. Traction has not failed me yet. Gonna also get those Pink Lemonades. 👍🏼

I like Jayson Tatum a lot and I actually thought about getting these since my Jordan one take 3 really starts to wear down. My biggest problem is that this shoe is made for playing on the forefoot and I’m not someone who only plays on their forefoot. The weight is the thing that really impressed me but I also expected more of a narrow fit which I need as a smaller and skinny person. But I’ll wait until the review of the Ja 1 comes out to see which one is better. Maybe I’ll just wait until all of the new signature shoes come out to see if there’s anything for me.

I'm usually US 12.5 (harden vol 6) to US 13 (KD 15, lebron 19). Tried on a friend's st. louis and his was US 11, and it was a snug fit, so im around size 12 I assumed. But i could only get ahold of a US 13 zoo colorway, so it was too loose, but i added another insole on top of it and so far it fits great! I'll update how it feels once I get to play in em!

for some reason in the zoo colourway, the ones reviewers have in hand have a translucent rubber outsole, but the ones in my local foot locker have solid rubber outsoles

Cat was like, "This new box is mine. Take the shoes-" 😆 Thanks for a great video on the Jordan JT1 🎉. Agree with you that the look for this St. Louis colorway look really good. Really clean.

Hey thanks! Traction is decent, not crazy good but it gets the job done. For indoors only they should be okay, like so far my pair has some tiny scratches off the foam but no significant damage yet. It’s a very very good shoe in my opinion but again durability is a concern indeed, so that’s the downside.

@@minasharonmyoui1751 Lebron witness 7. Some people have said they rolled their ankles on it for one reason or another, but the cushioning and comfort + traction is elite. I’ve had them for about 2 weeks now, no issues at all

@Mina Sharon Myoui @Mina Sharon Myoui I have a few pairs of the Chinese brands. Peak Atitude 2 basic version and Li Ning Yu Shuai 16 are very decent for outdoor. They are very reasonably priced (especially if you know those shoe selling apps in China) and they perform really well.

I think they will have security issues. Zoom balloons won't last long with an open design. The outsole is suitable for indoor use only.

Hey yes I will for sure. Got them a few days ago but haven’t got a chance to play in them yet.

It's weird to see that some brands can't produce a consistent rubber sole to prevent slipping on dustier courts. Li Ning and WoW are really far ahead of Jordan/Nike/Adidas nowadays when it comes to rubber compounds and all around traction. Time to copy from the Chinese I'd say.

Oh yeah in terms of the type of rubber compound used, for better traction + durability, brands do need to take notes from Way of Wade 😂 They consistently deliver some of the best outsoles out there.

Just got the gt cut 2 in tts and my toes touch the end of the shoe relatively easy and the sides of the shoe on things like hard jab steps really easily. I went a half size up before and had the same problem with the lateral stopping and a bunch of heel slip. Will the lockdown and movement of my foot in the shoe get better as I break in the shoe? Cuz its pretty bad rn and honestly id rather wear my broken in kd 14s

They will break in better over time, but the KD 14 is for sure a better shoe overall than the GT Cut 2 to me as well.

anybody play with these strictly outdoors? how do they hold up?

After 2-3 weeks of indoor play only, the heel outsole started wearing down pretty fast

How did they fit length wise? I found it very long when i tried them on which i found very strange cos i'm basically a size US9 in every shoe...especially Nike/Jordan

Tatum 1 fits true to size. If 8 is your normal size you can go with that, or 7.5 if you sized up with the Immortality’s. Not good for outdoors, bad durability.

i just went to nike today, and i almost bought tatum 1, but i ultimately pick why not 0.6. what u think about it?

👍 I like the Tatum 1 better personally, but the Why Not .6 is a fantastic shoe as well. I had no issues playing with those and they are more wide foot friendly too, so not bad.

@@juanesparza8673 I wouldn’t recommend it. Even though I really love the look as a casual sneaker too, the outsole can start to tear down quickly from walking on rough surfaces let’s say. But it’s your choice, comfort is great 😊

I think the Tatum’s are worth trying. Extremely light and minimal on feet but it really depends on if that’s something you’d like.

Tatum 1s are horrivle the plastic thing on the bottom on mu sons broke 2nd Gane mine broke 3rd time normal wearing and they squeek now. They should be recalled and give everyone their mone back

This is an innovative design, and unlike Curry's, they still managed to include an unlocked zoom unit. To me, that outweighs the durability and dust issues

I like these a little bit better. But they have the same level of performance.

In my opinion the traction on the tatum1 was absolutely trash. I was considering luca1, kyrie low5, and ja1. I would have got the ja1 but it wasnt released at that time. So i wouldn't recommend this shoe if you care on traction.
