Great thinking by Mailata but the guy was barely gonna touch Hurts in all likelihood, as the ball had left his hand when the defender was still 3 strides away. I'm glad Jordan was there to deflect him just in case the guy was gonna take a cheap shot at Jalen, but he would've probably been flagged as it would've been an egregiously late hit, if he did make serious contact. But like I said, he likely wouldn't have done much more than put his hands on Hurts to bring himself to a halt. Stoked for the season!!

Lesssgooo excited to see more from the uso
That guy is a stud! So glad he's an Eagle.
very underrated breakdown and play
Mount Mailata!!!! Great video buddy! Go Birds!
Wow. I know I'm late but this is outstanding.
Love this guy 💪 would love to have that jersey 😂 Great breakdown.

It's not a jersey, it's a tent.
Pity he won't be at the Eagles in 2022. No way will his agent let him stay. Rugby player learning the game. Left tackle, Right tackle, left tackle, bench, left tackle. Every other organization is watching and saying. Thankyou.

From what I see, Mailata places loyalty higher than money, I know that may be unusual... but just look at his character!

@@garyspeed8961 Loyalty is a two way street. Left tackle, right tackle, bench, left tackle and you're not going to start in 2021. If i was his agent i would say, we're out of here.

Well thank goodness he’s been named starting LT for the opener! Let’s hope he stays healthy and keeps progressing! Mount Mailata!!! Go Birds!

Told you so :)
Amazing
Even that defender is looking at him at the end of the play like wtf dude!!! 👀🫡
Like how Jordan plays to the whistle... opposite example was Sualomo letting a guy he felled get up and sack the QB
What a stud
They are going to vote him to the pro bowl.
Fucking beautiful!
My God mailata made him fly. Dude didn't know what hit him 😳
Never saw that play good eye
Guy just signed a 40 million gurantee and a possibility of 80 million with incentives
We should keep only him and brooks and kelci
How are you not a coach in the NFL?
Would Stoutland watch every single snap on film during the week and would have noticed this?
Hell. That’s a Bodyguard 2.0
C’mon Aussie c’mon 11 out of 10, carn the bunnies !!!

That is the sort of play you expect a 10 year vet to make , not a total newbie to the sport. 4 years ago he did not know what 3rd and 6 meant.
Wow didn’t expect that last 1 second he put number 24 on the ground on his ass lol nice play by the big boy maliata
DO THE MAILATA SAINTS GAME!!!...please

If he plays better than Semualo then he could be our LG and we will have Brooks and Johnson healthy next season and our line will be better
...and the dude jumps back up and
If I was rich he would be my bodyguard
At the end I swore I saw a Pennelly flag go up but I’ll take a penalty all day rather than my qb getting hit
Shame they'll prolly bench him for Dildard next year.
That was a great play. However, each game of this season I've seen Mailata beaten by both speed & power rushers lining across from him. The whole O-line needs retooling
Get off his nuts! Bosa is going to bless him😎
So he finally made a play? Milata is big but he is not a football player.
I love Mailata. Literally everything about the man.
I can't believe it saw it and I played center in college. That is hard to see, let alone react to block it. Amazing block.
