Jordan Henderson On Angry Confrontation With Roy Keane

Спорт

The full episode with Jordan Henderson is out now: • Jordan Henderson: The ... 🔥
Jordan Brian Henderson MBE (born 17 June 1990) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool and the England national team. Regarded by some as one of the best midfielders in the world, Henderson is noted for his leadership and technical ability.
Henderson joined the Sunderland Academy at the age of eight, making his first-team debut a decade later in November 2008. He spent six months on loan at Coventry City in 2009, before returning to Sunderland. In 2011, Henderson signed for Liverpool, winning his first trophy with the club, the League Cup, one year later.
Appointed Liverpool captain in 2015, Henderson won the UEFA Champions League, the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2019, and in 2020 led his team to the Premier League title, the club's first league title in 30 years.
For his performances in the title-winning season, Henderson was named FWA Footballer of the Year. In 2022, Henderson lifted the FA Cup and the EFL Cup, where Liverpool defeated Chelsea on penalties.
An England international, Henderson has over 70 appearances for his country since his debut in 2010. He has appeared at six international tournaments with England, the 2012, 2016 and 2020 UEFA European Championships and the 2014, 2018 and 2022 FIFA World Cups. He was the first player to win the England Player of the Year award at both the U-21 and senior level.

    As a United fan, and despite the fact he played for the Scousers, I have always had the utmost respected for JH. He was a really versatile, tough player, an inspirational leader, and an integral part of, I hate to say it, Liverpool's success. He comes across as a really good bloke, humble, grounded, with a deep understanding of football, and what makes players tick. The EPL and England are the worse off without him.

    I remember this game. We played our reserve games at Houghton Eppletone Colliery Ground and the ground at that time drew decent gates because of Jordan. It was maxed out when he and Kenwine Jones returned from injury and had to have a few reserve games. The few reserve games that were played at the SOL each season drew 10K with 30K against Newcastle and Manu. We never won nowt but they were good times following Sunderland and seeing Jordan's progression. I hope he comes back after Liverpool to captain us to the premier league. What a player and what a leader.

    Everyone knows that Keane doesn't really have what it takes to be a half-decent manager because he's far too full of his own self-importance. He simply doesn't know how to behave in order to get the best out of people.

  • @benjams5743

    @benjams5743

    But he had what it took, and knew how to behave to be one of the best midfielders in the game at one point, and one of the greatest leaders Man Utd has ever had on the pitch, leading possibly the greatest team Utd and England has ever seen, to an unprecedented treble (amongst other achievements). Sounds to me like you're the one full of your own self importance, and maybe a little jealousy, feeling the need to take a cheap-shot against another man who's been there and done it all at the highest level. Maybe you could learn a few things from him.
