🤔 The solution is preorder’s. If Nike did preorders it would literally end all the problems at once. 🤷‍♂️ Nike would build exactly enough pairs and always sell out. Resellers wouldn’t be able to grab all the pairs and set the market but they could preorder as many pair’s as they like but would have to take the chance of getting stuck with the pair’s if there wasn’t a demand for them on the secondary market. Bots 🤖 would become useless and regular consumers could be able to get exactly what they want. Sounds great but Nikes would never actually do it because our society is built on exclusivity and hype 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️ Everyone wants what know one else can obtain 🙁. Just an OG’s opinion ✌🏼

Completely agree it’s the Japanese model of cars they sell em (preorder) then build em , Nike follows the Henry ford model build em and try to sell em its and old model and generally floods the market , the Japanese model is better and assures that everyone who wants em gets em

Nope... If Nike did pre-orders, what happens when you get that imperfect pair. You couldn't go to a store and trade them out. There will be no returns because they are only making shoes to order. Nike will lose money if they get a bunch of returns. There would be no sales for the ones that want to catch them for that good deal. Lastly, you'd wait over several months depending on how many orders Nike received.

@@cedvictorious I agree it’s not a perfect way but since there preorders the quality would most definitely need to be top notch 👌🏻 And I forgot to add if I was Nike I wouldn’t allow returns 🤷‍♂️ The returns are the issue resellers have zero risk if they have 60 to 90 days to return the pair’s long enough for them to see how the secondary market shakes out. 🤷‍♂️ No returns or even a 15% restocking fee would stop them in there tracks. But at the end of the day Nike won’t ever do it but it’s definitely interesting that it seems they attempted it with them RTFKT Dunks but I believe it was a ordering quantity issue or people locked 🔒 there CC’s after the ordered last year 🤷‍♂️✌🏼

You know how many people just randomly see a shoe and buy it without even knowing it was released or what it even is… they can’t do that they’d lose way to much money. Go bankrupt after 5 years

How about general releases without any gender specific? I, for one, would’ve gone for the latte AJ1s had they released in extended sizes. I believe Europe does this already.

They did that with Chicago 2. December 30,2022.

‼️I’m first in the building! Nike have exclusive women releases with extended sizes because it makes them more money! It’s a mind game that’s to have us think it’s limited. This forces the FOMO Bug! BOT control!

I totally agree ! A female & male release (men & women) would work much better versus everyone rushing trying to get a men’s or women’s.

Doesn’t help with us big footers at all which is where the resale prices are the highest

It’s actually sooooooo simple… They should do pre orders.. stop making a limited amount and having people kill each other over shoes.. GET RID OF THE RESELLERS!! Instead of 10 minute draws do pre orders for a day.. allow people to buy as many pairs as they would like and then release it again later… maybe add on polls to see what the people would want where they could choose any shoe to be rereleased and any concepts they would like… might take a lil longer to get your shoe delivered but it could make it a lot better.. I think if all shoes were bricks are creative side would kick in a lot more.. people would start trying to cop different things and think outside of the box more as they put fits together and make it a lot safer for the community!

This is a good idea but only if they do not change the shoe. Look at times there are shoes that were made for men that I have wanted and they only carry it in men and grade school. When you see the men and compare it to the grade school shoe (for example the Jordan 4), the shoe was changed. Take a look next time, I do not like this, if it is a 4, keep it an original 4, do not change the shoe. 😒

Nike does this with stuff that is not exactly what people want. The 2022 women’s aj1 high og starfish. Stock was available on a large scale, so much so that retailers still have stock today. Similarly the Unc to chi womens high was available in extended sizes on a large scale of stock. Nike know what they are doing, intentionally limiting the hyped pairs or more versatile pairs. Hook bait and switch approach then sell us other stuff. Previously it was FOMO almost buying as sneakers releases and settling for 2nd best. Now if it’s not what i want exactly colourway or the stock is sold out, no more settling. Many people are patient now to wait months years for a proper colourway release, so the mediocre releases will continue to sit and go to outlets

They can just put the Jordan lineup on nikeid so we can put our own spin on em n n they'd sell more n won't have to sit on shelves or have full size runs go below retail. Or most definitely do preorders so we don't have to have the 💩 face takin an L on the apps

Make more shoes stop making limited runs so everyone who wants a pair at retail can get one and not have to buy resale upcosts. There should be no resale market limited amounts is only for the rich and famous and thsts wrong.
