Week 1 is a trap game for us like the bucs was last year. Vikes tripped & stumbled & shot themselves in the foot coming out the gate. Last season was such a rollercoaster ride bet many ppl forget. Like first 6 games looked like they weren't ready to play. There were questions as to weather camp was too light last year. Looking to see if we come out crisp & beat the teams we should beat.

Well we will see about that because the Minnesota Vikings will win the First Game of the Season over the New York Giants in the Away Game plus they will toughest team this next coming season because you know they will be winning all these games just Rookie Khyree Jackson passing and they will probably be emotional but we got this to win it for him. I said I thought the Vikings would win 8-10 games this year, but lately been leaning more to the 10 side than 8. I really think our defense is going to be good, and our offense isn't going to take a step back as much as people think, especially when you consider that Cousins was only our starter for half a season last year. I think we're gonna shove our way into the playoffs, and knock someone off even. That's my prediction. 10-7, wild card, advance. Think we bump the VaGiants off.

That is in the realm of winning and lose definitely not if you’re betting on how many catches somebody will have or how many catches yourself will have you could obviously impact that so but I don’t see nothing wrong with players bet on whether they’re team wins or lost loses

Is it hypocrisy though? I think we should all be able to distinguish the difference between fans gambling and players (or anyone working for a franchise) gambling. The NFL is making money on gambling...by fans. Same way they make money on fans coming to games, buying merch, etc. Players gambling in any sport is a can of worms that cannot be opened and I would think it's pretty clear why.

I hate that the NFL as well as the other major pro sports leagues are pushing gambling. There are many people that have gambling issues and this push is overwhelming and can cause some people to lose everything. This also goes for alcohol commercials. Sure some people that have gambling problems might be ok, but there are others who will not. I also believe that pro sports leagues should not be promoting political talking points or stances, if individual players want to do it on their own time and own social media that's fine. But when leagues/teams start alienating up to 1/2 of their fanbase for stupid reasons, that is a problem. Many people use sports as a way to escape for a few hours in a day, the shitty situations that they might have. The only people being hurt or affected many times are the fans. League administrators, owners, and players usually are not affected by these issues.
