When it comes to which version is best, I think, like all music, it depends on what you grew up on. Also, before I watched this, I never even knew there were versions other than the original. And in my mind, there still isn't. ;) It's superior to the others, musically, and in cinematic cues, the way in which the music 'hits' the visuals. The 80s version doesn't do this well with the images like the original does. It's almost as if in the 80s version, they just composed the updated music and the images were added in with no relation to each other. While the original is finely tuned to each shot used in the opening segment. Don't get me wrong, they're both good. But I prefer the original. And if you told me when I was a kid, that some several decades later I'd be discussing the musical cues of the Johnny Quest theme I would've thought you were completely nuts. ;)

I have three things to say to this: 1) Hollywood managed to mess up Alex Rider and Artemis Fowl. They've never made a good Hanna-Barbera theatrical feature, so I wouldn't have much faith in them to get this one right. 3) Animated shows should stay animated. Although everyone has a subjective opinion on musical preference, when a song is remixed from an already existing piece, those composers have something to live up to. They all sound good, but the first one kept a constant beat, keeping up with all the drama in the intro. Personally? I like the original, but the others pull their weight enough.
The drawing quality the look no question the first one. The music for me don t know why but I prefer for the latest version...

All the theme songs are good but the 1996 version is my favourite since I watched the Real Adventures as a child growing up in Malaysia.
If they ever do a movie of this they’d better do the “Real Adventures” version!

They did do a movie, and they used the original version (i.e. the best version).
The Original Jonny Quest from the 1960s. BEST. Nothing has ever come CLOSE.

As a teenager Leonardo DiCaprio would have been perfect for a live action Johny Quest. Add Mark Harmon for race banner and Harrison Ford as Dr Quest.

1960s! Hands down but I’m 62 years old and that’s what I grew up with 😜to be honest I didn’t even know there was a 1996 version obviously I wasn’t keeping up. My now 26 year old daughter was born in 96 so of course it never occurred to me to keep up! What’s funny is I watched the original scooby doo when it first premiered when I was about 8or 9 and my girls grew up watching the same original scooby doo as I did 🥲🥰
Premium cartoon and video. ♡ T.E.N.
I had such a rush on Race!!
The 1986 version is the best, straight into my childhood 1:35

Because the plots seem to have "private govt island facilities" in them. Will there be a Jonny Quest 'Raid on pedophile island' episode? Too real?
@GreyMatterStew

@@mikeries8549 Most of what I remember is research facilities gone wrong, some of which might have been gov't funded, I admittedly don't remember that well, and mad scientist/crime syndicate strongholds. I can't even begin to understand the pedophile island thing. Where does an idea like that even come from. Could you elaborate? I'd like to understand.

I have three things to say to this: 1) Hollywood managed to mess up Alex Rider and Artemis Fowl. What makes you think they wouldn't mess up Jonny Quest? 2) Warner Bros. owns the rights to Jonny Quest, so it would likely be produced by them. They've never made a good Hanna-Barbera theatrical feature, so I wouldn't have much faith in them to get this one right. 3) Animated shows should stay animated. I'm tired of this live-action elitism crap.
I wonder if any of the "Wrecking Crew" contributed to the 1964 theme?

Actually, Real Adventures is my least favourite. The 80s theme is second-best.
The 90's version sounds like you are going into a movie theater. It sounds fine, but not up to the action excitement or complexity of the 60's versions.

Acho q duraram até 2000.nem lembro direito mas ao rever amei a possibilidade de assistir mas não tem fiquei triste mas tá bom
I've been wrong this whole time about the theme song. There was a show that had a very up-tempo jazzy theme song probably around the 80's.
Okay, they put the girl named Jesse in the last as part of the theme.
A introdução do desenho é demais.

Doug Wildey is turning over in his grave to see his artwork turned into "cartoon" with that 80s and 90s rubbish. There is only 1 true Jonny Quest and it is the original 1964 series.

Jonny quest remind me of harry potter,...with out the magic, ( except for hagi).
The subsequent series' were not conceived as well as the original. Call it LACK OF WILDEY, simple as that..
I want a combination of the 1960s theme with the 1980s cartooning..
The 1986 Jonny quest should be like the 1960 Jonny quest meaning it should be a second season

More like a devolution. The later versions aren't affirmative bad (though the last one comes close), but they aren't anywhere near as good as the original.
They did a better job on updating this theme than The Jetsons, that was a travesty.

Remakes, always inferior.
Almost everything about the '80s version sucked. Juvenile stories, tending toward fantasy instead of science -- and the animation was the worst. Everyone, even our heroes, in everyday settings, looks both disheveled and angry/scowling.

Robert Haworth IMO, the Real Adventures series was an absolutely terrible idea. It's like Peanuts- if you're going to keep .among stories for them keep them at the same age. And don't add a ton of unnecessary characters and plots.
