I'm a 43 y/o ex skater who idolizes Rodney Mullen. Watching this vid gave me serious chills. I love your style and how you put this together. Love the 'ITORM' series. Really cool to see someone recreating so many tricks most skaters are too intimidated to try and are near forgotten. Skate like it's your last. Rock on.

@@DFunct905 Yeah I think Jonny would have to add even more freestyle in his tricks to really get to that level. But most notably it would be the stuff involving spins and 180s or 360s with an additional revert out. Not saying Jonny couldn't do those though, although stuff like a very clean 360 on flat isn't easy for sure. Especially in a combo.

I skated in the 90's and now my 11 year old son is skating and already light years ahead of where I was within the time span and his hero is Geiger. That warehouse part was the sickest way to pay homage to Rodney Mullen.
It's about time someone named Giger from Chur, Switzerland made some mind-meltingly beautiful artwork for us to marvel at and view over and over.
This just feels like a love/thank you letter to Rodney Mullen. It's got the man you inspired more people than may even know. He knows some young cats will see that and start down the wtf ear that trail and that ALWAYS leads back to Rodney. Maybe I'm wrong but just feels that way. Per usual, amazing part
primo slides, dark slides, late flips or every thing in between is just WOW!!!
So many amazing Rodney Mullen style tricks!
This part reminded me of Rodneys part in Rodney Vs Daewon II but even MORE technical. Right on Johnny boy you're killing it!! 🤘

I have no words to describe this. You, my man, keep the creativity and excitement of skateboard alive. You made my day worth living. Rodney needs to see this.
Yes, yes, yes, yes, Yes! Finally! Jonny's previous parts were always good, but I've always felt like he never fully brought it... Like he felt he had to keep the standard tricks you always see in videos, in his videos. I would finish watching his parts feeling like he left out all the good stuff I'm used to seeing from him. Not this time! This part was impressive. This part, I feel, is worthy of being spoken in the same breath as the Daewon and Mullen masterpiece parts. Even the way it was filmed was impressive. This was an absolute pleasure to watch!!!
No question, just one of the best street skaters world wide. The one and only in switzerland! Great stuff, loving it.
I don't know where to start.. you've become a ledgend!
I have spent so many years trying to learn tricks. To the untrained eye I am pretty good, but not like this... Johnny is sooo clean and just Lands and Rides off so Steezy. Can't even compare this dude to anyone. He is a Hybrid Skater composed of so many Legends that he has earned himself that title... Legend 🤟🙏
When the good kid breaks through their plateau and starts becoming more and more amazing every few months. Jonny is skating faster, doing more difficult tricks, and starting to get more and bigger sets in his footage. If Jonny keeps this pace up, soon he'll be putting out the must-see parts that even the haters are excited for. This part was fantastic. Good job, Jonny. Keep skating, keep elevating those skills.
Great part. It's sick that you collabed with Trit.
Can put this on repeat so good thanks Jonny and everyone else Good Stuff
Holy shit Jonny, i had to pause the vid and lay down after 1 minute.. My mind was blown. Good job!
This dude is one of the cleanest pros out there. Legend.
Each trick startled the crap out of me cuz Jonny's skating is just so unpredictable!
Danke für deinen kreativen Einfluss aus die WELTWEITE Skateboarding scene
No video part ever does this anymore, only Jonny still out here inventing new tricks that no one else could possibly dp
Thank you Jonny! Much love from Switzerland
Yeah the new era of Mullen you prescribed me with is working unbelievably and is exactly what I needed in my life!!!
