Joni Mitchell and Friends at The Gorge in Gorge, WA on June 10, 2023. This is a compilation of all of the videos that I took that night, with the 14 songs here presented in their original order. The clips average about 2 minutes each, and a complete listing of the songs and chapters is below. The only clip that I shortened is "Amelia", because the full 6 minute video that I took of that song is available elsewhere here on KZread ( • Joni Mitchell - Amelia... ). I was sitting in the 2nd row, and felt extremely fortunate to be present at this incredible concert. I travelled from Pennsylvania to Seattle just to see Joni, one of my biggest heroes, and it was absolutely worth it. She was amazing!

The lineup included Joni Mitchell, Brandi Carlile, Annie Lennox, Marcus Mumford, Sarah McLachlan, Allison Russell, Lucius (Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig), Blake Mills, Mark Isham, Celisse Henderson, Wendy Melvoin, Lisa Coleman, Taylor Goldsmith, Ben Lusher, Rick Whitfield, Phil Hanseroth, Tim Hanseroth, Josh Neumann, and Matt Chamberlain.
One of the highlights of the night for me: I waited until a really quiet point between songs and yelled “We love you, Joni!” really loud from my seat, which was in front of Joni. Joni looked right at me and said “Oh, thank you so much! That was a good one!” I was smiling and waving to her, jumping up and down like a little kid. Then she added, still looking at me, “Love wins!” It was a moment I’ll never ever forget.

What a view you had! We were very close to the back of the lawn seating but almost centered. Still an awesome experience. Just to hear Joni sing “Amelia” live was worth flying across the country but there were so many other treats and surprises that evening. Thanks for sharing ❤

3 hours of a Joni Jam Party. So well edited and sound is excellent! Congrats all who made it. Knew it was going to be special when Brandie first announced with Dolly. OMG, all this makes me so emotional. That Joni is still with us AND both singing and performing... well, it's just nothing short of a true miracle. Some artists, a very select few, have the power to become a part of our lives, who speak to us, who know us, who are us. Their music resonates with us for we discover and recognize ourselves through that resonance. And at the end of the day, over time, we become who we are as individuals as we wander together through our collective journey into... well, whatever the hell this thing is we exist in...! But hey, at least we had Joni to help put things in perspective, help us to recognize who we each are as individuals, help us to recognize ourselves in each other, and come to the understanding that we are, ultimately, a part of one another, and a part of it all, of this one, colossal enterprise we call life, we call existence... whatever the hell it is, ultimately, lol. Thank you SO much, Jon, for putting this compilation together, and allowing the rest of us to experience the wonder and the magic and the miracle that is Joni.

What a thrill it must have been to see Joni, singing again! With Brandi and all her friends for support. Very inspiring for those of us who love Joni, and especially for those of us who have developed health issues as time's gone on. Truly for Joni, something's lost, but something's gained. Happy to see on at least one song ("If") that she's now able to both sing and play simultaneously. So lucky you were able to travel to see this amazing show. Thanks for putting it out there for all to see!

That's Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, who sing in a band called Lucius. They aren't sisters, but they do like to dress alike. They first met in 2005 as students in Berklee College of Music, and they have several albums out under the name Lucius.

Thank you so much. This is all of the footage that I have, except for the full-length version of "Amelia", which is at kzread.info/dash/bejne/lGGT0puJnJrTmdI.html. They professionally filmed and recorded the whole show, and it seems like they will be releasing it eventually, after they release the Newport show next month and Archives, Vol. 3 after that. I spoke to one of the camera men before the show started specifically about that, and he told that there was a "plan in place" to release it, which is great news!

That is Sauchuen Yu, Joni's physical therapist, who she has described as her "angel".
