An incredible woman through and through! She is such a light for God in this old world!!

If you think some small thing in your life is a major problem, learn from this lady who has overcome adversity on a big scale and can appreciate the blessings in her life. Great talent and inspiration.

Joni, you are such an inspiration to me, your accident was the same year I was born, maybe that is one reason I feel so close to you and have since I first heard of you. I was born with paralyzed from the waist down. I have using a power wheelchair for 2 years....fun and not so much. I was at first in a manual. Well, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for your inspiration. I love you sister in Christ. Tina.

God is amazing in that He inspires and empowers her to rise above the limits of her broken body and overcome fear and accomplish what some might think impossible.

I used to listen to Joni sing before she was hurt I think...been years. I've always loved her for her witness for Christ.

I doubt that because she was hurt when she was 18 and before she became a known person. She can sing very well considering her injury would weaken her diaphragm.

How do you create such realistic pictures of people and create folds in the dresses... How do you paint roses and tulips..... How do you create horses and all their sinewy muscles? How do you create such beautiful landscapes. Please show us how you work to create such masterpieces and how to use the various mediums you use!

You can only type as long as you are talking or it disappears! You should talk longer...I paint because there are weighty things in life (art is one of them) and shallow things ( racing you car down the street). I choose to do the important stuff! Besides, the fellowship of artists is a great calling. Associating with the past masters to carry on culture and share their struggles stimulates me...sounds like one of the reasons I embrace Jesus

Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of eternal life to all who trust Him alone for salvation. Joni Erikson teaches Lordship salvation. That is another gospel. Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation.
