I am glad you are getting these kinds of messages out. Grants give the government more control. Private funding is the way to go.

Meeker just let it go. I use to ride up to Jones Park to watch the Chinooks and Apaches land at Jones Park in the early 2010's. And after the closure to motorized in 2012, I found new places to ride. Whatever Jones Park is to be for the future was set in motion before the cutthroat trout debate and closure in 2012. Let it go.

Well my point is really CMTRA needs to not even give false hope in this. As Todd said it probably wont open and if it does it be a long time away. Although thinking about the meeting more Todd could use the same argument for all the old trails in the area as he is doing with 622a. It's already there, so we don't need to ask permission. Let's be honest, the old trails are a lot of fun in recent years.

I document a lot of trails and film them. That being said, I don't usually post trails with the name because it attracts more people to the area same with FB groups.

More people the better, unknown trails are easy to shut down as no one knows about the trail to fight to keep it open. More that know about a trail will more likely stand up and say HEY I ride that trail. I have never seen a trail get shut down that is used but I have seen trails get shut down that are not used. "Or perceived to be used".

@Meekerextreme Ehhh, I still have to disagree. When trails are overused they get shut down because more people erode the trail, go around trees, and are disrespectful to the area.

@Meekerextreme Have to say though I agree with most everything else you talk about in your videos!
