And I'm not sure how not winning a cup ever in the NHL makes you better than our drought, 47 years btw(46 seasons if you want to get technical). And even if from when the team was founded, the nucks are currently at 42 years. So unless they can pull one out of the bag in the next 5 years, they are going to be there. Depending on how Schneider does, the nucks are good contenders, but have showed in the past, they arn't the best when put in a pressure situation.

@00StangGT00 Yeah, Kesler's line was shut down by Toews' line, and vice versa. Kesler actually had the same # of points as Toews and 2 FEWER than Kane so if you're going to say they sucked, where does that leave Kesler? In fact he STILL hasn't scored a goal in the playoffs (9 games). LOL. The difference is that guys like Toews and Kesler can still dominate even if they don't score. The Sedins OTOH are soft one-dimensional players. When their scoring dries up they are glorified 3rd liners.

Calgary got cheated out in 04, the officiating sucked in edmonton and ottawa, and if it wasnt for canucks fuckin them selves over, the reffing would have been another reason we would have lost, because if the canucks had done good, all teh eyes would have been toward the officials. Dont call your self a winner either, you won 2 years ago so relax. see you in the playoffs.
