That whole band is cooking!!! The drummer is listening and pushing the soloists to the next level.
His face like "man these lines are lit " mixed with "nailed it!"
Never get tired of Kreisberg’s tone.
AHHHH....yes.....and Jonathan Kreisberg continuously succumbs to the "jazz face".... and it sounds so VERY excellent! And Colin Stranahan...he has the "I'm LOCKED in the POCKET in MANY METERS I ROCK IT face"... Matt Clohesy has the "I don't WALK, I RIDE face"... Martin Bejerano "I PLAY OUTSIDE OF THE FRAME".... 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Perfect solo by Jonathan
stunning‼️
This video has been blowing my mind for years now, I can't wait to see him play again once I get back to NY
Gorgeous swing
Martin Bejerano!!
Great jazz player. Im a fan
Man this drummer...wow
Killing!!!
Hugely enjoyable. Great solos from Jonathan and Peter. Wow.
This is amazing!
Que hermoso es el jazz
Killer set. Still can’t unsee Andy Kaufman as Kreisberg.
Most expressive and brilliant version of "The Song Is You" I've ever heard!! JK brings out such great nuances of the tune. Equally exquisite piano solo, and fantastic trading 4s by the rhythm section.
Beautifulllllll
absolutely incredible drumer
GO GO GO !!! ...
Yeah! And that's it! 👏👏👏👏👏
I have not listened to much of him. Seeing him here shows me he means every note and am looking forward to hearing more. Excellent playing! Thanks for posting.
very good piano player !
I really enjoy Jonathan’s playing. I have the same guitar (mine is a 1962) and amplifier. His playing reminds me of my early favorite guitarist, Barney Kessel.
AMAZING...how they could all play over a 10 min. drum solo ;-]
Very cool.
Just the way he drops in ...

A drummer who can scratch his head and look at himself in the mirror while he's playing....very cool!
Jazz guitar seems excellent for facial muscles. Great performance !!
Cool, I didn't know, Ash could play guitar so well
using the same pick up into the solo as the other take of "The song is you" feat. David Kikoski, what do yous think of that?

kreisberg is great... but it's clear there's a reason why all his lines sound so perfecto and we've heard them all before. But hey, it works for him!
whaat 🥶
My boyfriend thinks this video is pretty sick ❤️
I really enjoyed this, loved the guitar players lines, and the bass players eyes looking like a cat:)

Wow that’s a lot of notes right there.

Absoulutely no. He use a lot of pedals, expecially Two different delay and usually he play with Two Amps, transistor + valve (Polytone and Fender Deluxe Reverb) for a Stereo Setup.
How did he reduce the feedback of hollow guitars? He stands so close to the AMP.

not sure jazz guitar gets any better
I love JK's "Game Face" when he's playing
JK!!
And those face expressions? are they Jazz too?
I didn't know Bruce Campbell played guitar.
Also, if you're familiar with the other video of JK playing The song is you on youtube: You'll notice that there's at least 6 points in this solo where he uses the exact same phrases note for note. Can we really say this is true improvisation or is it the result of muscle memory with some narrative in-between?

Drummer getting g in the way...
The drummer was sooo overwhelming during the entire song and didnt let the pianist express his ideas yet his solos didnt swing or make any sense at all.

@Moponi 👍 agreed With you . Jazz is so complexe and open . Their à lots of possibility ' no limits . My drums teacher say to may that the best school for musicians is the hear. Sometimes some drummer are very very good technicly but not that good with hear . Not judging
The pianist needs to learn the language
Wow. Just chops.Amazing. And the drummer had little to say about it. Jazz is supposed to be irony and depth. None of that here. Just chops. Hashtag Berklee.
