What a beautiful interview. We lived in Haiti for five years, with small children and ended up leaving in 2019. We were evacuated out during a period of unrest. Our hearts ache for our friends and family there. Every word of this interview was so relatable - the heartache, the joy, the uncertainty, the moto rides, the boat rides, and everything in between. I felt like I was listening to myself five years ago. ❤

Such an awesome teaching lesson, they are so refreshing as kind hearted missionaries. I'm praying for all you guys do, Iris and Jonathan and Flore. Stay upbeat and I guess in truth it is the lost and needy Haitians that also need most of the prayer. Thank you for this interview I have experienced missionary victory meetings before but not many, this was so good to put my heart in Haiti more truthfully than at any other time. This story makes me think of Moses freeing the Israelites from Egypt. Gods thoughts are not our thoughts. He did not give us the feeling of fear.. and this story is the perfect story of surrendering to God and watch him work.

How did you find your incredibly amazing staff that carry on with such determination and commitment even after your leaving? Were some of them already doing that work before you came or did they join you later?
