This is a "SAD SONG" wrapped in a happy beat music. Jellyfish is used to metaphor trauma (hurt,betrayed etc). Definitely being in the music industry gives him a very hard time. Yonghwa' ya, keep going and move on!! There's so many people who keep supporting you.

The metaphors He's surrounded by FAKE people He's in the industry but exists outside it. CNBLUE is both J-rock/ K-rock band, but also a kpop idol group, but then again not. This is represented by the black and white, turning gray. The piano is in the background, because he's drawn to it more than guitar. But fans always want him to have his guitar . The room is his career. The pictures frames are empty. This could be end of his career or represent endless possibilities, memories of concerts, to be made. There's a chance he could have it all, or lose it all. Music is only way into that world. When he touches the keys, on the piano. Once again he is transported to the world of showbiz. It's beautiful but deadly. If he gets to close it could poison his soul, but still, he has to get close to it. Yonghwa is a damn genius!

CNBLUE/Yonghwa recorded more than 40 English songs. Their very first album was recorded ENTIRELY in English. I Created public playlist. The older ones,lyrics aren't as sharp, but still great songs. Live versions sound the same, or better! No lip synch!

This song is so underrated and personally, this is my favorite among his feel the five y releases. The song it self is a masterpiece with a music video with so much meaning and essence. If you look deeper into his lyrics, I think it talks about his career as an idol or celebrity. For some a life of an idol may be beautiful but it's actually sometimes burdensome with all the expectations and standards you have to meet. So sometimes they are forced to hide behind masks that you don't know who is real anymore. And even though you're on the spotlight already, it doesn't guarantee you a feeling of fulfillment. Being on the spotlight, being a star comes with great risk especially on your mental health. I think what jellyfish refers to are the risks behind being a star. You're enjoying some perks but still at some point, some thing will have to make you suffer. You shine but as you shine there is a poison that awaits you. Becoming seems like a paradise, it's beautiful but just like a jellyfish, it is attractive but once you touch it, it stings and it's deadly. But yet, being a singer for Yonghwa is his life and passion. He wanted to do this things in the name of music that's why even though how hard it is sometimes, being a singer is something he cannot left and he will always go back to it. Maybe sometimes, he thinks of living the industry but for his love of music and for the people and trust him, he's already to take risk and be drawn again to that jellyfish.

But as far as trying to avoid the army, the claim was ridiculous, because it's MANDATORY. He can't avoid it, nor had ever planned to avoid it. It was an honor to serve. Then disappeared for about three weeks...
