Make it four kings Gabe Rodriguez. We could separate Texas Country/ Western Swing into four time periods now. Oldest king- Bob Wills, then Waylon Jennings, then George Strait, and now Jon Wolfe today.

Another Jon Wolfe banger. This guy is seriously underrated and should be played on the radio. Jon Wolfe is literally the next George Strait.

Good news is that a lot of small markets outside of Texas are playing a lot more real country music from the classics, Canadian Country, Australian Country, Folk Country, Blue Grass and Texas Red Dirt.Parker McCollum and Randal King broke out big right now. Dillon Carmichael, Randy Rogers Band, Robert James Webb, Cody Jinks, Randy Rogers and Wade Bowen, Joe and Martina, Aaron Goodvin, Jade Eagleson, Brad Cox Casey Donahew, Josh Ward and others are in the charts for small markets and all that. Even this song is picking up steam outside of Texas along with Clay Hollis as well. Traditional country music is fighting back against the Nashville country pop sound, and some of the main artists are following the popularity of the sound of Jon Wolfe and others since there is a hunger for Feels Like Country Music songs on the radio.

Just an FYI. While at work I stream KFTX 97.5 so i can hear the great Texas country music. While driving my old car, I'm stuck listening to local country stations. Just for fun yesterday morning I called to request a song. The DJ had never heard of Jon Wolfe. I told him he could find Jon on KZread. I had asked him to play this song and I figured the DJ could not get it or would not play it. About four songs later as I was turning in to work guess what I heard. Jon Wolfe's song was being played for the first time in Alamogordo, NM! Sounded damn good too!

Big fan of You Jon. I discovered you when you opened for Cojo In Kansas City Jan 2020. That concert was a blast. Feels like country music and Boots on the dance floor are my favorites of yours. Few months back I asked Bull Granger Smith driver to tell you hello from your Missouri Fan TJ. That concert changed my Life and if only I could tell you and Cojo how it did.
