I actually had the honor to have had a drink with Jon Pardi personally this year in March when he came to Hill Country in Beaumont Tx. and we spoke about his grandma and how much I love his music.... Keep up the good work Jon Pardi you are bringing the real county music feeling back!..... Sitting here at home having a nice cold Budweiser listening to Pardi!

❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I have to comment. This song…….This song……… Through the toughest time as a nurse. 2020❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 I drove from Bakersfield to Los Angeles to work front line as a Covid-19 Strike team nurse. This song was my favorite listing to the sweet words… like no one would leave me alone 🥲💕💕💕 Reminded me of my Grandma in Heaven who used to sting to me. God was definitely with me. I never caught Covid but I watched many Nurses just not come back to work the next day 🥲😢 I replayed it a million times on KZread on my drive to work… Remember there was no one on the highway because everything was shut down. The sun would be rising and it was so beautiful. I learned a lot about myself during that time in my life. Anyways…..thank you for your version of this song. Amazing how music can soothe a persons soul. ❤

I'd have to say this is the one song that made me truly fall in love with country music. Sure I was exposed to all kinds of music through my parents, but it was heavy metal & old school funk that caught my ear as a teenager. Then as an adult in my early twenties, I become involved in a 3 year relationship, and decided to break it off after thinking "the grass is greener on the other side". I heard this song on a classic country radio station in Phoenix in the early 90s, and it spoke to me and everything I did wrong, but couldn't take back. Still think of her from time to time.

In my 17 years of OTR truck driving I have listened to, & sang this song a million times & can not do much better. Nothing against Jon, but the heart, soul, & passion of the song is missing in this video. That is what George has that many folks can not seem to pull out from the inside. Mo Pitney does a fabulous job with his sister Holly singing “{Don’t Touch Me”. Mo also does a great job on “Borrowed Angel”. Mo’s Tribute to Merle Haggard singing “Famer’s Daughter” was a great Job. Mo singing “Miami, My Amy” was great. I listened to all the songs a few times & am really waiting for Mo to fall back on his roots with the traditional classic country he is making himself famous for, & to come up with a couple old skool originals. What sets Mo apart from the other up & coming stars is his emotions while singing. So might call it an act, but I call it part of the song. Without the emotion, all you have is Jon Pardi. A song without the emotion. It really does need to come from the inside, the heart. Really looking forward to seeing more of this young man & his promising future. Chris Stapleton, Wow, Whiskey & You. Listen to it. BINGO !! Whitney Morgan, “White Dove”, “Today I Started Loving You Again”, “Highway Patrolman”, & “Grandpa’s Guitar”. The whole Album “Grandpa’s Guitar is worth listening to & it’s free on Amazonh Prime. :)Some of the best modern music that will ever fester them ears.

I love this more than anyone could know. When everyone left on the weekend to the town bar. Gramma would pull out the radio and I would dance on her feet. Sure wish i had her embrace just one more time. I need more than ever right now.
