I attended this concert in Moscow. Wonderful memories... The atmosphere was incredible. I was lucky to see and hear it. Jon Lord is one of the musicians I adored and will always adore. He's gone but his fantastic music will always stay with us.

So touched by Lord's words. I can totally understand how he would have wanted to be there with the purple and contribute to that fantastic song. I don't know him as a person but I kinda know him as a musician and I think he is and will always be a inimitable unique contributor to music.

He was putting in his say for which are songs to remember forever, it's a tribute to it and them, honoring .... not supposed to be better or similar ~ t here's been every permutation of DP ruining whichever one supposes to be the 'best' lineup ~ we Blackmore fans of course will never have an objective point of view, but can you see Led Zeppelin without Jimmy Page or Black Sabbath without Tony Iommi? Come on, like the Beatles without John ~ beyond that, though, after many years I finally appreciate these Coverdale songs like never before, give credit where it's due, it's beautiful music, just let them do the song, it's good! Bravo Jon for whipping them into shape ! D

+Алексей Майборода произведение живет пока его исполняют. Ну да, звучание не очень, но ведь и запись похоже велась телефончиком. То же самое исполнение записать звук с ихнего пульта хотя бы- оценка была бы уже полярной.

its actually quite hard to play songs slower than faster i know this because when i practice i can't play it at slow speed but when i turn up the tempo i create less mistakes or none at all because once you can play it faster its easier to do... but playing it slow is always hard... even all my music teachers agree...

Timsfecalmatter I’ve been in a few bands and I noticed that some tempos were always somehow played faster which ruined some songs

I'm no fan of Coverdale anymore, since he ran into two tough rugby players, and made a stupid remark about their hairdo to impress the ladies. Since then, he start to sing HIGH PITCHED, not even bothering to explain what happened to his nice bluesy voice, which he used to sing this song and the legendary "Saints & Sinners" album of Whitesnake. The moral of all this, young and not so young folks ? No problem with healthy guys trying to impress ladies, but never, I repeat never make fun of the hairstyle of rugby players, unless you are a rugby player.... Even if you are a famous rockstar....

It is a great song but the performance is pretty bad (especially female singer). Sorry.

Yeah Coverdale was the original but just enjoy the song an absolute classic
