I don't understand Jon. He could've improved this roster right now with Terrence Shannon Jr, so we can get an athletic 2 guard who can shoot and defend to improve this current, win-now, championship roster. Honestly, Giannis and Dame getting hurt for the playoffs was the worst thing that could've happened to this team. Gave this dude a false sense of security, and blind sided him to the flaws that this current roster has, especially in comparison to the Celtics. We needed to have an acknowledgement of what the flaws of the roster are. Not be delusional. Jon just wants to see if he can replicate the Giannis draft and he responsible for getting anthor high risk player that manifested into a super star.

We need a young back up PG for Dame, our 2nd unit is gonna be young, which we need. As a Bucks fan I can't express how we got killed in transition cuz we could not get out n run. Yall know we in the luxury tax n have no salary cap. We can only sign some free agents to vets minimum. We can't even trade away big contracts for smaller contracts. The Dame trade took care of that. We still are in a win now mentality but we need young back ups and 3 and D players.

I don't like the weight, dont seem like he can shoot consistently. I do like the height/ length. He is very athletic, has good handle, seems fluid in in motions and body(that's what I don't like about Marjon) and he might be the fastest and most explosive.

@@stanofme8456 TSJ is a SG though, and he's more PROVEN defensively and has a solid jumper (which we could've slid into our lineups as a POA defender). Obviously I see AJ having a higher ceiling than TSJ, but TSJ has a much higher floor and will most likely be a better player for the next 2-3 years and that is how long our championship window is around Dame/Giannis. However, though the pick is already done, so we can only root and hope AJ Johnson can develop into something quick.

Non they wanted Zach Edey but are mad Brook is slow. We already got 4 young wings in Marion, A-Jax, Green and Livingston. We needed a ball-handler to play behind dame and now we got a competing between Johnson and Washington if we don’t add one in free agency they are just mad it wasn’t the player they wanted. A-Jax can be the point of attack defender if he works on not fouling which will help Brook not be dragged out to the perimeter and sag more. This draft is proof so far that they believe in the young guys moving forward and less on poor drafting. I’d just rather be right about my positivity then them be right about their negativity

Fluid Athleticism is a great framing! He just moves with a maturity that is hard to find in player his age and I think he could be very useful in the next year or so if he fills out his frame.

Horst is cooked man.. hasn’t had a single good draft pick since I don’t even know who.. i hope this works out but it’s just a long shot to think a 165lb 19 year old can be an instant impact type of guy that helps Giannis and Dame win now while they are in/exiting their primes in the the next couple years. “He has a chance to get on the floor” isn’t something you should be saying about a first round draft pick🤦🏻‍♂️

@@elmztana1201 I agree 100%, it’s just the overall approach he seems to be taking in maximizing giannis and dames time together. Unserious offseason pickups (gallo, jae crowder) both beyond their primes and unathletic/slow.. a big man that is only affective in drop coverage and can’t guard or switch onto smaller players at all (unplayable in the playoffs against elite guards/pnr) and a lack of POA defenders and switchable defenders in our starting lineups.. the offense is there, we have two of the best half court scorers in the game on our squad. Not surrounding them with ELITE athletic wings and bigs that can keep up with todays pace of play, 1 on 1 scoring ability, and athleticism that other teams in the league have is an injustice and honestly disrespectful to the player that giannis is and the career/resume he very well could have when it’s all said and done. We have to evolve along with the rest of league. Pat Bev, Malik Beasley, 33yo Khris, and Pat C simply cannot be the guys that were throwing at other teams’ 30 point per night of players.. it’s just simply not going to work anymore. You see what guys like OG did to the Knicks defense, PJ Washington did for the Mavs, Jaden McDaniels does for the Twolves, Herb Jones, KCP, Caruso.. the list goes on. Those guys impact games and defense unlike anyone the bucks have guarding other teams’ best scorers. We absolutely NEED a guy like that if we want a chance to keep up in a league that is as deep and talented as it is.
