We love Jon bonjovi he’s like fine wine he gets better with age , I’m seeing this now in 2024 l was born in 85 but my my parents and older siblings turned me on to bonjovi im so happy they did . He’s still gorgeous that beautiful face .

12:22 It's quite ironic that Hugh McDonald had to wait 22 years to become an official member, while Phil X became a member only 3 years after Richie left 😀. I kind of understand what Jon was saying about loyalty to Alec and continuing as a four-piece band, but I think when Richie left the band he only brought the other two guys in to make it look like a real rock band on the front covers and photos 😉. Looking back, Jon can be very happy that he only had two exits in 30 years. For a band that bears his name, it could have been a one-man band like Whitesnake, with members coming and going. For me, anyway, the original five guys from Jersey are the real Bon Jovi.

I am a HUGE Bon Jovi fan. So if you listen to Jon talk about Alec “bassist” leaving the band in this interview Snyder misunderstands and thinks that Alec had died when he left the band. Even the caller says, “I’m sorry to hear that.” But Jon Bon Jovi didn’t correct Snyder that he left the band but he hasd not died. Anyone else catch that? Unfortunately only recently did Alec Jon Such pass away this month at 70 years old. 😢😇

Yeah I noticed that. And to this day, the real reasons are still unclear why Alec left the band. At least he got a chance to reunite with the band on the Rock 'n roll Hall of Fame induction show. RIP Alec.

I'm a huge Bon Jovi fan. I've loved them since I first saw the Living on a Prayer video in 1986. I was very saddened by the passing of Alec John Such.😢

John asked Alec to leave, because he was not perfirming as well as John expected and he had been naking mistakes. Saw that in another Interview with John.
