I’ll die on this hill…his voice may be shot but he did that for his fans. These clips are prime examples of how spectacular he actually was. He deserves respect for the sacrifices he made for his fans.

His voice in the period between 1989 and 1997 was second to none. The screams in I'll be there for you and Living in sin are out of this world. You did a great job, perfect compilation!

Thank you so much! I agree, that period was the absolute prime, but on a good day in 2000 he sounded like in 95. Anyway difficult to put together a compilation when there’s so many good performances, but the quality sucks

​​@@eriksimonsen9038absolutely. I saw Bon Jovi in concert several times from 95 through the Bounce tour. Prime! Outstanding. Amazing shows. The ultimate live band. I pray he's seeing doctors, vocal coaches, whatever's needed, because I believe 20 plus years of these incredible vocals have caused damage. Makes me very sad to say that.

@@roykeane3510wouldn’t necessarily call it better. He had 0 technique and was constantly damaging his vocals. His technique from 88-96 was way better, had a more consistent sound and imo sounded better. But the early vocals he had was very raw and unique which was appealing

Jon also did a ton of interviews and didn’t really ever rest his voice. It also didn’t help that during Slippery and New Jersey Syndicate tours he completely stopped any form of vocal training.

A partir del 2000 se le fué apagando la voz, prueba de ello éstos vídeos que son extraídos de los 80s y 90s donde estaba pletórico. Con ése rango vocal tan alto debió cuidar su técnica mucho más, ahora está roto.
