Cant wait to see how you cover the gap for the side boards. I was curious to see your solution after watching the last video when you put them in and considered it for my boat. One thought I had was to maybe use a rubber bottom threshold seal strip for it. Might be able to fit it in between the board and the side of the boat for a nice transition.

That's an idea for sure, another option I saw was 1-2" thick neoprene foam with adhesive backing. It's super UV resistance and waterproof.
Fun fact! I ended up returning these seats and got a new set that's much more comfortable and fits the style of the boat better.
