Jon Bernthal is a sweet, kind and humble man. My family and I met him in 2019, and he was awesome. Last weekend I met Sam J. Jones aka Flash Gordon and he noticed that I have a Punisher tattoo (with Jon as The Punisher) and he was saying Jon's performance was amazing, and he said, "And he's so humble too, don't you think ?" And I agreed. Jon is grateful for how he got to where he is, and is completely down to earth. If you get a chance to meet him, do it ! You won't regret it !

I agree. Met him at a comicon after hist walking dead stent and the man talked with me for like 20-30 mins haha. Really down to earth cool guy and im happy to see all of his additional sucess since then

Many people agree how shane was outside of rick, lori and carl, was pretty much how everyone needed to be later he realized what was needed in this new world very early on

Why would he have a problem with Glenn specifically, though? Shane usually respected everyone within the group and had no ongoing affairs with anyone around the time of his death besides The Greenes and The Grimes (excluding Carl and probably Beth).

I've seen him interviewed a lot over the years & he has always given me the feeling that he's genuinely a good guy. He mentions how appreciative he is & feels blessed, fortunate, thankful, lucky, etc. He has some cool charities & seems to understand that he wouldn't be where he is without the fans too. I'm not one to fan out since celebs are still just people & most have over-inflated egos. I'm just saying that he seems to be a rare breed as far as celebs go & it's refreshing.

One of the coolest and most down to earth actors in Hollywood.

I loved that we got Shane for as long as we did. He was gone very quickly in the comics but I think the showrunners knew they had something special with Bernthal in the role.

I'm honestly surprised that the show is still on. Literally everyone I know bailed on it a couple of seasons ago

I almost completely skipped seasons 7 and 8 they were soooo boring and bad Season 9 was alright but I haven't watched s10

@@RobertEdwinHouse9 i stopped around season 6. At that point nothing was happening and every episode was the same. The walking dead wouldve been a perfect 5 season show imo especially if they had a long term arc and ending in mind from the beginning. Instead its just been milked out and went from being one of the biggest shows on TV where everyone talked about each week to being completely forgotten.

@@ARBLACKx Not really milking, They are following the source material , by the end of season 6 they were basically half way through the comics with 93 issues still remaining. It's only now that they are finally ending it as they are reaching that final arc from the comics.

well I liked him as an actor but I always disliked his characters, Shane was an ass, in Ford v Ferrari he was an ass to and Punisher is just punisher

I met Jon a few years ago and I can say he was very kind and humble. He didn't act like he was a celebrity and seemed really down to earth. I really like him.

Such an amazing performer. TWD, The Pacific, DD/Punisher, The Accountant, and his most underrated role, Carlos in HIMYM.

Hollywood should be more like Jon. He's amazing.

One of my all time favorite actors. Especially in recent history. Even the small roles are so well done. SICARIO. Come on, he's in the film. For what 7 to 10 mins? Maybe not even that. Great job, the back of the squad scene with Benicio is extremely well acted scene.

Cos it’s crap. To me it lost its way when Negan joined. Losing Glen and the rest left me with no real attachment left to the show.

I really loved Glenn and it was hard to get over but negan is such a badass. Took me a couple months to get back into it after he killed Glenn and Abe but trust me dude it’s so worth it to keep watching

He is an excellent actor, has rugged good looks & nice physique (imo) & would be perfect for that genre! Plus he does seem like a genuinely good guy & always expresses being thankful for his fame.

I stuck with the show as long as possible to the point I was forcing myself to watch it for at least 2 years but after Rick left the show I just didn’t see the point anymore, the show started as ricks story and his story on the show ended so I saw that as a good get off point, 99% of the original characters are dead and the ones currently alive I honestly couldn’t give less of a fuck about

Jon was the perfect picture cop. Abraham was the perfect picture soldier. Miss them both & I stopped watching it because of these two gone as well as Glenn too. Glenn was just a guy before the end of the world who merely rose to the occasion as a true grassroots survivor.

Great actor and human but I don’t care why he stopped watching. I love the characters, special effects, acting, actors and writers so I’ll be watching till the end and every spin-off.

Jon Bernthal is awesome. Very chil, down to earth guy. Wish him the best. TERRANCE OUT

Shane didn't really trust people like Rick did. Rick learned that shortly after but his people kept changing his mind. Shane probably would've try to take over hill top and even become a black sheep like Dary if the people wanted to settle and not fight anymore. Leadership is hard that way both of them were different. Rick cared about his people even if it cost his team their lives for the whole group. Shane was a hot head and couldn't be trusted but he cared about the team more so his own family. Everything the team went through with the series of choices made. They never would've been as prosperous if they listen to Shane.

I just love him 🥺❤️ he talk exactly like his character in the show❤️❤️😭😭😭

Exactly everytime i hear an actor on the show in real life they always have different accents it kinda ruins that connection but its really amazing how they can sound completely different thats great acting

the fact that Jon didn't win an Emmy for the character of Shane is criminal. the 'barnaggeddon' episode alone was enough for that win.

Yeah I gave up on it after Andrew Lincoln left the show. I admittedly finished the season, but it just spiraled down so fast.

I did stop after a war with Negan but recently i cameback to watch it and i do enjoy it. I think the break from it did good

I just want to say that a lot of these interviews are generally the same questions over and over and in some cases the questions are a little cringe. These were really decent questions and the way you asked them was brilliant. Good work, my guy.

Honestly they should make an alternate reality twd where Shane doesn’t die on the farm but kills Rick instead. That would be pretty cool

Everyone I know that watched of from me, my wife, my brother, my friends, all stopped watching it about season 8 bc we all felt the "war" was drawn out way to long compared to other seasons.

I've been enjoying him in the "American Gigolo" remake. Rosie O'Donnell is great as well. Jon was also great in "Fury." So unbelievably tragic.

Seems like a great dude! Absolutely loved him in Wolf of Wall Street and TWD. His Podcast is also really excellent.

I say it and I always say it, this series is and will be the best series in the world, because it represents very well the putrefaction of the characters and the zombies for being so long. that's why. 🤣👌

From anything I seen from him on screen and interviews, he’s a real ass dude inside and out. He respects the film industry a lot, I think it’s like an early Robert Downey Jr type situation where he never gets respect for his past but he ends up being a fucking legend. In terms of actors I really like JB he doesn’t fold. He’s very humble and he acts just like a man that you’d respect on a job site. He just hits me off as a dude you would want on your team.

I loved Shane. I didn't look at him as a villian. He was right about so much.

He don’t watch the show anymore. He could’ve just said that. I hate when people give a long no. Just say no. In this day and age with TiVo and dvds there’s no reason to not watch a show other than you don’t want to.

Because the show repeats itself every season. And the end is not in sight. Nobody wants to watch the same season over and over and over and over again without any semblance of an ending

Jon is such a genuinely cool guy lol, one of the best actors in my opinion by who he is as a person, and his actual performance in his job
