@@9reyno she had to sue her record label 2 or 3 times to get out of her contract and she didn't get a penny from it. I think she also recorded an entire new album and they scrapped it. They screwed her over big time.

Its funny the people saying glad shes back etc jojo never went anywhere lol Im a big fan of hers and have still followed her career the last few years.She has had mix tapes and music out and has still been actively doing shows.I saw her in Detroit live at the hard rock cafe when she released disaster and jumping trains(videos hear on youtube)shout out to her other hardcore fans who know jojo never went anywhere.

SO BEYOND POWERFUL. Awesome beat, deep lyrics and meaning.

JoJo never left, she worked hard with new songs and they were released for free on KZread. But all I have to say is I'm so happy to hear and see that she is making music that is actually put on iTunes. So proud of her! She pushed through and was victorious. Even though it's poppier than her older stuff, she was 13! People and their music styles change.... Love you JoJo ;) 💋

Same June 22 2004 a star was born and her name was Jojo I was 8 and there hasn't been a day where I have listened to a Jojo song or thought is she ever going to make new stuff.its hard to believe that a little 8 year listen to her in 2004 and know a 21 year old single dad of a 2 year old and a six month old is still listening to her today and I have got my 2 year old addicted to her as well.

Her record label wouldn't let her make music and forbid her from going to another label. She took them to court and finally won and got out of her contract. Now she is with a new, much better, label.

They wouldn't let her release any new music and wouldn't let her get out of her contract so that she could join with another label. She didn't own her voice. So she sued them and after several years she won and is now free and joined Atlantic Records. She is finally able to create and release music with label support.
