@@user-dp3gc4dn3d I think most of the hate comes from the fact that "Chase" is very different from the other two part 4 openings and doesn't really fit the atmosphere of the part. Part 4 is by far the brightest and "happiest", but this opening is very dark, colorless and rough with the music. It really doesn't feel like a part 4 opening. With that said; I love Chase.

@@bereanacademygamingclub4482 honestly reading the lyrics for Chase make me appreciate it more coz I feel like they took some consideration into Kira's side of things with some of the perspective choices. Like when they talk about something precious being stolen away by a demon that's in their everyday life, I feel like Kira felt the same way about him being threatened in his own home town and having his way of life attacked by someone that's been there the whole time but we're unaware of each other. I really appreciate the contrast and similarities of Kira and Josuke Add that to the good ass feel of the song itself and you got yourself a great opening

All the JoJo openings are good at conveying an emotion, and Chase is no different Chase is anger. Not the furious justice type of anger we see in Chono Shino Sadame, or the driving force we see in Stand Proud and End of the World, no. Chase is an aimless anger, caused by grief. Trying to hunt down someone who's caused you pain, and not even knowing who they are.

some people actually think this opening is bad. those people dont understand that Chase is an arc of josuke's life, shigechi dying, dealing with his father, Josuke on this arc is going for some hard moments on his life. even in the lyrics say that. In fact, this opening is as good as the others openings of the entire jojo anime.

After first watching and being obsessed with JoJo 3 years ago, then not doing anything related to jojo since, hearing this song, which before part 5, is oddly nostalgic
