That's the thing about stand users, they have an automatic defensive mechanism if they're in a state of near-death experience. Take a look at Jotaro during the prison scene in part 3, Star Platinum caught the bullet by his own will without the command of Jotaro. Another perfect example is Dio's TW, during the scene where he asked Lady Enya to shoot him with a shotgun, his stand automatically stopped the time by himself

3:12 is honestly one of my favorite moments in part 4.

What's impressive about josukes stand is that it's not only strong as hell, it can heal ANY damage so quickly, organic or inorganic. Making him have nasty yet the most amazing imaginative beatings. I mean the dude has one of the most stylish and bizarre beatdowns to his opponents in the entire series, next to giornos golden experience. I have to wonder, if the requiem series give the stands, especially the joestars almost God like powers, could his requiem stand be able to revive people from the dead?

Pretty sure Requiems are an evolution of one's stand combined with the will of one's soul. Chariot Requiem was walking away with the arrow to keep the arrow away from Diavolo, that's Polnareff's will, Giorno's will was to defeat Diavolo, so the arrow gave him the ability to return anything to zero, countering KC's time erasement. So in order for Josuke to revive people with CDR, he needs the will to revive people, that will will probably come from his dead Gramps

the “Dora” at 15:11 gave me CHILLS when i first heard it, so intense and the sound it made when it connected. just shows the hatred Josuke has for Kira and it just made that scene 10x more powerful. god i love Josuke so much.

the thing that scares me about Crazy Diamond is how he can literally punch a hole through someone, and re-situate anything he wants to in your body, and move it around, even re-shape it, and make it to where that organ system doesn't function properly anymore, and eventually lead to death. Sometimes, Crazy Diamond is more terrifying than Okuyasu's 'The Hand' Edit: I didn't expect this comment to get so much attention, thank you. Also I was thinking a little bit more about it and yeah him literally having the ability to turn someone into a rock is far worse than what I was thinking but the Hand and Crazy Diamond are about equally terrifying in their own ways

i love the although subtle but much appreciated afterimage difference between star platinum and crazy diamond barraging with cd, you can actually see the arms move back and forth, but for sp, they literally come in and out of frame
