Her technique isn’t actually all that great. The belt was very raspy. A sign of vocal damage and strain.

she has impeccable technique & breathing technique to be specific. rasp doesn't equate to bad technique and has to do with a tired voice. rasp CAN be a sign of vocal damage if its always there or appears after shortly singing, with her, is not the case.@@XMilesX123

I agree with you on that one. Jojo will be the best singer as a soloist out there along with Christina Aguilera. Because so many autotuned out there especially right now. All of them are lazy on singing using their own voices. That is why I am listening the older music than newer music now. Some of them even forgot their own lyrics and lipsync on live stage.

it sounded good but she misplaced & it looked painful lol, this is why she probably doesn’t sing this much anymore. you have to be on point technically for it to sound good otherwise it’s underwhelming & sounds sloppy

It‘s such a shame what her record label did to her.. Her voice was/is awesome, she deserves more.

2004 was Jojo’s year ! Used to see her all the time on mtv and all teen magazines

I was 21 when she released this song. Thought she was incredibly talented then. Look at her now. AMAZING young lady with such a beautiful voice. Still so talented. Love her!

Anthony Gabriel well it’s not that - she’s been in legal battles and all kinds of bullshit with her record label for the last 10 years which has kept her from really progressing as an artist and being able to make the music she wants. We still all love her old stuff but she hasn’t been able to really make new stuff or promote it for the last 10 years.
