I am PICKY when I hear selena covers. Selena had a vocal range that was out of this world. A lot of singers can’t touch Selena’s vocal range. They try, but they just can’t come close. But Jojo did pretty good. She’s one of the only singers I’ve heard get close to Selena’s natural range. She sang this song close to how I feel like Selena herself would sing it. I don’t like when singers put too much of their own twist on Selena’s songs. But jojo respected the original and didn’t overdo her own touches.

I like Jojo's rendition of this classic Selena song! Her ad lib and ornamenting makes it all her own! Camille Cabalero's rendition I like because her tone and timbre are closer to Selena's as well as her simplicity in interpretation.
