Hej! Niedługo zmieniam specyfikę pracy. Do tej pory obsługiwałem frezarkę (haas vf2) a od lipca/sierpnia będę obsługiwał tokarkę Haas'a - będę musiał nauczyć się kilku nowych rzeczy, więc z jeszcze większym zainteresowaniem będę śledził Twój kanał. Pozdrawiam 😊

Hi, your video is very educated. Do you think u can show us some video on jow to properly use steady rest and centerdrill long shaft on lathe. Where i work everybody try to make it secret. I have to do my own. But sometime i wonder is this properway to do it or not

I've watched several of your videos over the last couple days, and I think this is at least the second time I've seen you make a part from something that had been previously machined as something else. I assume this stock doesn't come from the steel supplier. Does the customer supply their own stock, or when someone brings you something unrepairable do you keep the old part to use as stock, or some other way?

Great work Chris thanks for sharing this!! Surface finish is brilliant. Got a question that I keep forgetting to ask you. When you do the set up of the piece with with the DTI’s how long does it take you to get the piece “true”?? Whenever I used to try it took me ages, I only ever got a brief description of what you had to do and I then had to guess at it and teach myself. Hence it took me so long to do it.

I always enjoyed making 4340 chromoly band saw shafts. Thanks for taking the time to upload these videos. Are you the shop owner? I only ask because it is rare an employer would be ok with someone filming.

No, I just work here. What I'm recording it's mostly repair jobs so they don't really care. There's more but I can't record that.

What was the milled flat on the job for ? And the turned diameter? Seems like a real simple job to start from raw material with or without a hole in it.
