    thank you so much! i was following a pattern for my first sweater and couldn't understand the written steps to join the sleeves. having here a visual tutorial really helped me get what i had to do.

    You ladies are amazing! Thank you I bought the pattern and am now have about the first two inches done! It will take me about a year to finish but you have made this so easy to understand. Yay! This is also my first sweater EVER wish me luck! P S I love the smiles :)

    I'm not sure about the short rows. I have them marked and did one side. Now I have a lump? Can we chat? Debbie Hansen

    Can you slow down and show us how you joined the sleeve? Did you join the entire thing? Did you leave the smaller rows of stitches loose? Did you knit them in a certain way? You must have a slower version of this video play and perhaps you can explain a little more to someone who bought the pattern and has knitted up to this point!!!! I have a vague idea of what you did, but you've skipped right over something critical - how the hell are you actually joining these sleeves?

    I was expecting to finish it off so I could finish my sweter. The difficult part is the raglan up to the neck.

    What does it mean when in a knitting pattern says cast off 2 stitches at begging of next 10 rows

    Top down is so much better . That way can try it on as you are knitting to check sizing.
