Some of these "clubs" behave like a cult. I'll continue to ride solo.

Yeah its so weird, who buys a bike for friends
Prospected with a club for a bit. Thought I found my place because they’re all vets, and I’m a vet and i have a hard time making friends. Everything was good until one of them told me my obligation is to them and I can tell my family to f-off if I ever want a patch. Never thought I’d hear that from another vet

Straight facts. I see too many guys join clubs with high expectations and leave because it wasn’t for them.
I am a former club member. I was in a very well-known club here in Los Angeles. I appreciate the brotherhood. However, that was in 2006 and when my bike was stolen I was no longer considered a member. Fast forward to 2023, I have a brand new 2023 Harley Davidson and I have no desire to be in a club again, but I still respect the club lifestyle. And there’s nobody that can come to me and convince me to be in a club. I ride for the love of the road and the love of having a Harley Davidson. Nothing more. Thank you for your video and your honesty.

Hanging around a club still puts you in line to join the MC. If you leave, Most take it negatively. 1% clubs will make oust you from the scene if you hangout and then walk away. So don’t just hang out with a club if you have no intentions of joining.
I love your videos bro. Joining my MC really changed my mindset of what I thought a club was all about. And you're correct, the media has placed a negative spin on motorcycle clubs. Keep up the good work

Frankly theres nothing higher than serving your country and i refuse to be treated like a pvt all over again. All the clubs i talked to up here in AK, one of the big 4 in particular, all said the prospect phase is what it is. I don’t get the club thing at all. I’ve always thought of riding my bike as a way of being at one with myself and enjoying total freedom for a few hours or a few days. The last thing I want when biking is to have to do what the others want to do. I just might want to ride a few miles of gravel road to get someplace I want to get to. But hardly anybody wants to get off the pavement because they might get their bikes dirty. I’m not antisocial at all. I enjoy getting together with other riders to chat about bikes and places to ride but I when it comes to riding, I don’t need the company of a bunch of other riders.
Club logic...join us if you want to be rebellious, be free, live life with no rules!............Joins club, follow our rules, dont be rebellious and stay under the radar, you arent free you are with us until you die.

Motorcycle clubs are dumb. They make no sense. They started as a way for bikers to come together with a common goal, to live outside of societal norms. But they involved into stupidity, fighting another club just because they are in the same area. All MCs pretty much act and think the same way, you would think that they would be more friendly towards each other.

All Mc’s ? I’m a club member and I don’t behave that way at all. Every organization will always have a group of A holes who mess things up for everyone else. But not everyone is the same.

@ridefitnation I'm just going by the fact that if I wear a patched vest, with a top and bottom rocker and a center patch, some idiot from an MC is going to get his fee fees hurt, and if he tries to take it, it won't be his feelings that get hurt. I understand putting patches from a club that you don't belong to, but if I want to get with my friends and create a club, why the hell do I need to ask permission from anybody? That's the part that is stupid. Who cares if I'm in club A and have the same city as you do on the bottom rocker in club b?
@myronmosley2167

@@user-eb5qj8zr4znobody is saying you can’t but if you’re going to do that you’d better be ready to stand on that because there will be people that won’t respect it and won’t like it and will press you on the issue. Go to a gang infested area and wear bandannas and see what happens. Walk around in a military style uniform and see if someone doesn’t press you on it. Or do so with any other group setting that is a specific community and just come up with some stuff that they do, somebody is gonna check you regardless. The level in which they check you will vary but no community is just going to allow someone from outside of that community come in and just do what they want. But again, if you want to start a club and you don’t want to deal with the COC’s, the 1%ers and all that, you can. Just be ready to deal with what comes with that.
I ride with my friends no club needed.

In our club, we don't make a Prospect (which is actually the second step ... Hangaround is the first) do anything we won't do or haven't already done. We are looking for brothers, not slaves. As far as being a patched member, we also say "The man makes the cut, not the cut makes the man." Also, when you said that the front of your cut is yours ... that isn't always the case. Around my area, your personal (ie non-club sanctioned) patches are to be worn on the inside of your cut. So every club and every area have their own standards.
@ridefitnation

I believe I said that not all clubs at the same. But if so didn’t them thank you sharing. We too have hang arounds before prospecting. Keep on enjoying the hang around process. Don’t rush into it. Take your time and learn as much as you can about that club.
What would you recommend for someone who's actually getting tired of the club? I left one club back in 2018, thinking the grass would be greener on the other side. Same BS that was going on in the last club is the same BS going on in current club. Example, bros always have something to do when it's time to ride. Using club events to go off and get with their sneaky link. Not taking bylaws serious and always giving people a pass.
Id much rather ride with a friend or solo

If you werent even willing to wash your soon to be brothers bikes while knowing all the people you wanna call brother in the future went through the same process tells me that you didnt have your ego checked properly and as a result you will probably lay down your cut when a storm hits your charter.
