Joiner's mallet with fun joinery (new mallets #1)

Making the first of two new mallets, this one being a heavy joiner's mallet for driving mortise chisels and pounding joints together. I'm no professional and I don't have anything to teach, this is just me, sharing my thoughts and my work. Join me as I'm learning fine woodworking!

Thanks so much for the inspiration! This really chimes with inspirations I take for my independent music, it’s so nice to see this kind of work out there.

Nice job again. One of my friends gave me some pieces from a felled tree. Guess what projects I will be starting soon.

That's a great looking mallet. Please never apologise for going overkill with the impressive joinery. :-)
