U are so cute on Dave🥰sorry u fell,it kinda looked like when the wip flicked it spooked him a lil, I wasn’t there tho so I could be completely wrong 😊maybe try to make sure the wip doesn’t flick upwards be mistake, but as I said it might not have had anything to do with that it was just my opinion ❤just remember that bad rides and falls teach us the most❤🫣glad ur ok❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I would advise you to check Dave's tack a little more, the saddle moves a bit, so it doesn't completely fit and could create behaviour issues in the long run. And the noseband is much too loose, it should fit two standing fingers on the bridge of his nose, not more. I also hear you’re asking your little girl to squeeze with her legs, but her feet barely reach past the saddle, so Dave probably feels nothing and that is why she gets no reaction. This is a good thing to keep in mind, because it could be Amélie might start to feel bad about not being able to get her pony to respond, while that’s not her fault. Other than that, it seems like your having a good time. Dave is a beautiful pony.

Thanks for your comment. The saddle has been professionally fitted and re-checked after 8 weeks by a saddler but it could need another check, granted. Her legs are tiny but she can usually get him going. We are working with our trainer and another lightweight rider schools him for us. ☺️👍🏼

@@ameliesponyadventures Thanks for your reponse! If another lightweight rider schools him for you it could be he simply got a bit more back muscle and that's why the saddle fits a little less, who knows.
