What's going on Jersey Jeff Eats Foodies? Today I am back in Atlantic City to catch a light lunch at The Park, the 'roof-top' park at Ocean Casino Resort on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. As you guys know, this is my favorite hang out in town when I enjoy being alone perhaps at a table or perhaps just rocking in a chair by the fire pits overlooking the boardwalk and Atlantic Ocean. Today I decided to catch a light lunch in between my daily video recording (is it actually in between if I recorded my lunch)? In any event, I got a Greek salad and a cup of hot, black tea from Caffecchino. Was the lunch any good? Watch the video to find out! Re: the bar upstairs, I really like carpeting!! I know many authentic Italian restaurants are often in brick, and though I love Italian food, I never feel 'welcome' in Italian restaurants, and for me, the ambiance is just as important as decent food, maybe more so. Things are being made 'slick.' It gives us the feeling of we're 'on the go.' Hotel lobbys, hotel rooms, they're all made to look, well, tile and brick, and marble, slick, I'll say. They're so slick, for me, that I try to find a place I'd like to sit and look around for an hour during lunch or dinner. It's usually carpeted.

It's hard to say which AC casino I like best. It's a close call. Though Ocean's up there.😁Though that LONG escalator is kinda odd.

Design wise and where it sits is top notch. Considering it was designed awhile ago it still seems so fresh. Seems each one of the top properties has its own unique qualities.
A lot of good places to eat in AC...unfortunately there are none in the casinos(especially the boardwalk places-only place Capriccios forget the rest)Embarrassing food and prices

embarrassing prices is right. I've never really 'gotten hooked' on a restaurant in a casino. Always, gotta visit Irish Pub (though I don't always like the food), gotta go to Gilchrist, gotta go to Perry's, but seldom to a restaurant in a casino. And sometimes, if the chef changes the menu and gets rid of a dish I really like, I cross that place off. Good point, Gabe. Embarrassing food and prices. My local casinos barely have any food places open anymore; 'hot dog platter,' (no joke!), $16.95. Hot dog, fries, pickle, that's it. Back to the Blackjack table with you
