Johnny Turner is passionate about aviation, and that shows in his teaching. Mr. Turner is a Powerplant Instructor at National Aviation Academy in New England. From engine electrical to troubleshooting, he's there to teach it all.
In his Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) class, Johnny helps to train students on subjects such as Fuel Systems and Engine Troubleshooting. National Aviation Academy’s AMT program is comprehensive, yet fast-paced, to help students pass their FAA exams, become certified, and move into their careers. The class he instructs also covers subjects like Engine Electrical Systems, Reciprocating Troubleshooting and more!
Mr. Turner's class prepares students for the Powerplant portion of the AMT program. The curriculum is taught through three primary modes: classroom instruction accompanied by text and workbook review, team-oriented projects in a laboratory setting which simulate on the job skills and real-world experience working on aircraft at our hangar. Instructors like Johnny Turner truly care about the material taught in their classrooms!
At the end of the day, Johnny and his fellow instructors facilitate the training and pass on the knowledge from years of experience to give students the opportunity to learn and build their careers as Airframe & Powerplant mechanics!
