I remember that race in Germany perfectly, I saw it on TV in my country Argentina. Big win for Johnny!

Brilliant! I remember this race well… I was a Fisichella supporter back then. Sadly in those days the race strategy at Stewart Racing was not the pundits first order of business, and this victory seemed very much to come from left field. Thanks Johnny for spilling the beans, and letting us in on your mindset at the time. I’ll genuinely miss you this coming season (‘23) on television. BTW, I was always fond of the look of those Stewart racing cars.

I do remember that race! I was sympathizing Stewart Ford team back at the time, pretty happy to see both drivers at the podium that day! They were 4th that year! I still think they should’ve stayed as Stewart Ford without changes inside the team. As the changes were made and Jaguar took lead everything went south. Beautiful car No results however, how typical Jaguar thing.

The "we know better do as told or pack your bags" men took over and that's it. Worked out in the end though with yet another brand change.
