Written by the late Linda Creed teamed up with Thom Bell back when she was close to dying of Breast Cancer. Linda Creed was a White girl from Philly who was a major piece to the establishment of beautiful and meaningful R&B music. Mrs Creed wrote the Greatest Love of All first sung by George Benson for the Muhammad Ali movie called the Greatest and then resung by the awesome late Whitney Houston as well as You make me feel Brand New, Betcha by Golly Wow sung by the Stylistics and Old Friend sung by Phyllis Hyman and how can we forget Rubber Band Man sung by the Spinners and so many more bangin songs.

People don’t sing like this any more! This is when music tugged at your heart and soul! Them artists would have you mad at someone you didn’t even know, just because they were heartbroken, lol! This is the kind of record you put on and lay across your bed and think about your crush while you stare at the posters on your wall.

He sung the Hell out of this damn song. One of the saddest songs I've ever heard. You know a song is good when it makes you mourn a broken heart that you don't have.

After searching the internet looking for a decent quality video for the song and not being able to find one. This song fits exactly how I'm feeling right now. Dated a lady for 8 months and she decided to go in another direction. I don't know, I mean you treat women like queens, they try to run over you. You dog them out they chase you. Go figure. At the age of 40 you'd think that you would out grow some things.
