Johnny Depp's Truth

Комедия

Chris Franjola is here, and we get his impression of Johnny Depp on the stand. Is this court case just one big life lesson for all of us? A cyclist, a love triangle, has a potential murderess on the run. Todd Chrisley’s former employee said he and Todd had an intimate relationship. Ice Tea and his wife Coco defend pushing their six-year-old daughter in a stroller to her acrylic nail appointment before breastfeeding. A woman confronts her Pastor, who abused her in front of their congregation. Lisa Rinna of RHOBH might regret calling Kathy Hilton out based on her own past behavior. Angelyne wants free groceries, and Ricky Gervais still doesn’t care.

If I were 'terrified' of my husband I wouldn't bring men into HIS homes, I wouldn't risk trying to record him, I would NEVER taunt him and psycho laugh at his career/manhood/fatherhood... she is scary. Not just to me- her own mom and sister have said that. But sure, Johnny should shut up and let his career and legacy just burn to the ground because some freak framed him.

I suppose you can still have an opinion - just expect a rather cold reception and dismissive responses. I agree that it IS very frustrating to hear a 6 week trial condensed down to a couple sentences that miss the mark so widely. His explanations and evidence are not only more nuanced than how it was described here but also more credible. An example: the pics with his black eye. There was nothing to rebut it, technically or witness-wise, as opposed to AH’s photos: not only rebuttals with both of those grounds but also the lack of a black eye in photos taken before and after the TMZ ones (altho a rather weak justification of makeup coverage as to that). Also, the Gervais jokes went way beyond what was mentioned here. They were quite a bit more amusing. ☺️

I have yet to watch but I’m going through withdrawal from her pod so I’m going to give it a try. I LOVE Heather. Normally I watch within an hour or so of her releasing episodes. Unfortunately when she starting discussing the trial they way she frames it has stopped me from tuning in. Which for me is sad bc I find her soooo entertaining. Snark is awesome but unless you really KNOW the basics and truth don’t discuss it. Especially because it involves abuse. Majority of women and some men(JD included have experienced IPV and or DV. It’s triggering for many I’m sure. Hopefully this doesn’t come off as shaming you Heather. I am NOT trying to do that. I’ll add I’ve only seen 1/2 of ANY of JDs life or work and only had a VERY vague knowledge of Amber. Watching the trial in full(while a lot) is necessary to have an opinion. I believe Emily D Baker has been on here. It was regarding the victims of Tom Girardi and the gas explosion settlements. I stream it all from her channel and it is FASCINATING. Perhaps Heather you can bring her on after the trial. To sort of give you a toned down version. Emily is awesome and snarky and inclusive. I admire her immensely. Side note- Love Chris but same goes for him w his podcast comments etc

I’ve been a total voyeur watching basically the whole trial, and I think it’s pretty clear she is a terrible human being. I simply choose to believe my own eyes and ears. I like Johnny, but I don’t like any (male) celebrity enough to support them if I believed they were a violent abuser. My advice for Amber would be to capitalise on the tough, evil bitch persona, maybe she’ll get some good thriller roles out of it - so long as they don’t require tears

Anti-SLAPP is not a California thing… 🤦🏻‍♀️ Other states, including Virginia, have anti-SLAPP but each state can have their own nuances. In VA, it is more favorable to the plaintiff because a ruling on the anti-SLAPP motion is made after the case is heard. In CA, it is more favorable to the defendant bc the court rules on the anti-SLAPP motion first meaning the plaintiff never gets a chance to state their case or provide any evidence. Amber did not only claim verbal abuse! Heather, think about how bad your black eyes were after hitting the back of your head after fainting and listen to Amber describe what they refer to as the Australia incident. Look at her supposed photo evidence and listen to her say she didn’t need medical attention. Also listen to the audio recordings you said you haven’t heard of her mocking Depp and saying she didn’t punch him, she just hit him. Listen to the audio of her telling him no one will ever believe him if he, a man, tells the world he’s a victim of abuse. Then please read about the thousands of women speaking out in anger against Amber for the mockery she has mad for women who are real victims of abuse. This trial is not about a woman being able to speak. Amber has said plenty. She had the law in her favor going into the trial but if she is found to be liable for defamation, she has no one to blame but herself. She just couldn’t help herself. She made the most egregious accusations of DV and SA during this trial, so bad she would have no doubt been hospitalized after the Australia incident but instead she shows a handful of edited photos with what looks like dark circles under her eyes. Her only defense has been everyone is a liar but her. And when her attorneys can’t attack a witness’ testimony, they sink to ad hominem attacks like insulting someone’s education or accusing them of wanting 15 minutes of fame. She’s thrown everyone under the bus during the trial including her sister & her own attorneys. As for her own witnesses, they only damaged her case. No 2 witnesses have given the same story of what happened on any given incident other than they all said they never saw Depp abuse her. All of this plus so much more is why you are getting criticism. You are missing so much of the real story.

The de Armas chick was dating Ben Affleck, and she's latina, Gal Gadot, Israeli, gorgeous and she did a great job as wonder woman.
