As unbiased as I attempt to be throughout this case, the more I watch and rewatch his many interviews, the clearer it becomes that he’s a genuine kind-hearted guy who has been taken advantage of by someone looking to take advantage of someone. No, he’s not a saint nor perfect. He’s just human. A remarkable human living a remarkable life.

Couldn't say it better, I also think midlife crisis had a big influence, hormones are difficult to fight and after their late 40s men change and can lose sense in front of a woman 22 years younger than them and not see any of the signs of her taking advantage of him.

Why do people think he is “crazy” or “nuts”?. He is more sane than most!! Highly intelligent even having left school early. He’s most definitely an old soul.

It's kind of sad to look back at this interview, which was filmed two months prior to both his mum dying and his wife putting out a life-destroying lie about him, and to really see in him how much he's struggling. He's such a kind, gentle man who has flaws he admits to, which is a rare thing these days, and he's brought such joy and light to millions around the world who've suffered the darkness of this world. There's such deep wisdom there, and such self-deprecating humour, and to know now what else he's had to endure, it's heartbreaking. This whole interview has been beautiful to witness, delving into the mind and madness of Johnny Depp, and somehow coming out of it better than what was going in.

After the lies of AH are exposed during the cross that begins on Monday, Johnny will still have time on the stand. There won't be enough time to play this entire interview, but it could be skillfully edited and would go a long way to revealing his truth. I am enjoying watching interviews too. I realize what his genius and simplicity is and that we can all do this no matter what our life paths are. He is more "normal" than he realizes. He played with hot wheels as a kid. He's navigated this world just as we all have. Filmed two months prior to his split with his wife and his mother dying. Have no idea if he’s an atheist or not, but Wondering now, if he has revisited some of his thoughts and words. Hope he wins against Heard, her claims of physical abuse or sexual abuse are absurd.

Ha ha for sure. I think of her as the Violet Beauregard Blueberry in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Her lies got bigger and bigger until she blew up. With Violet I believe it was greed that did her in, with amber it was both greed (for power) and jealousy.

After watching this interview, Johnny Depp is definitely one of the key people I would want to attend a proverbial fantasy dinner party I threw if I had the dream opportunity. What a mellow, funny, serious, intelligent and beyond interesting guy!

Poignant "the Truth at all cost" this is why he was not afraid to take his case to Court with the world watching, he does not fear the Truth.

I have been an admirer of Johnny since I was 3 years old and saw him on screen for the first time.. I'm now almost 30 and I find that over the years I just admire him more and more.. from visiting kids in the hospital (I lost my 4 year old to Congenital Heart Disease in 2019) to every single character that he has created that has been unique and special, to his other artistic talents, music, drawing etc.. I have always appreciated him and his work. I am so glad to see him getting back into the spotlight after the mess with his psycho ex that shall not be named. I honestly thought I couldn't love him any more than I already do but I was proved wrong after watching this.. from one artistic weirdo to another, please keep being your wonderfully weird self.. 🖤 P.s. JD ages like a fine wine and anyone who says differently is an ass.

Your comment is very accurate. He is honest and straightforward which is so rare among the Hellywood crowd. The fact that he hasn't watched any of his movies says, to me, he has NO vanity and is genuine. I hate to see what he is having to go through now with the ex that he has characterized perfectly on the stand. He doesn't deserve it and she is definitely a damaged, mentally unstable person who tried to destroy him and he is so lucky to get out of that toxic relationship with his psyche intact. How can he not view himself as an artist? Captain Jack is a complete work of art. He is truly amazing. Such a genius.

I have a son who was a sensitive, creative, brilliant person. He also self-medicated, but did not party. When he wanted to try to live life with out the substances, it was too late. He had developed mental illness, delusions, paranoia. He did not lose his creativity, but he did lose his life. Madness can bring out the beauty in a person, but there is a fine line between that beauty and the ugliness that needs to be soothed with the drugs. Madness has a sort of duality that I have been struggling to understand since Mason's suicide. Had he channeled his madness more into his creativity; had he accepted the beauty of his mind, rather than trying to ease its constant generating...would he still be alive? This was an interesting interview.

I also saw the darkest part of madness...it's a difficult thing to balance.. over a certain level it's not creative anymore..it becomes a monster that eat you... Johnny is a man with really strong energy and he can handle his darkness because he was used to do it from a young age and an high sensitive mind.. so the two things can balance..until now..but he has to heal. Now he is on a cross road in his life.

I just knew that he has a band and I listened to Heroes with Johnny’s voice, my reaction was Woow, he is really an artist even though he doesn’t believe it. I wish nothing but happiness for him and justice🙏🏼 thanks for such an enlightening interview about how sweet and talented this man is

My son was affected by domestic violence, abuse and neglect. I feel Johnny's pain but I am so glad that he fight to find justice because set an example for others, justice system and victims because sometime the victims don't get justice especially if they are man. I love you Johnny Depp, you are an amazing person and a beautiful soul!!

Watching this after Depp won his defamation case. Truth never perishes. Love to everyone else with ADHD and all of the rest of you too.

He's an absolutely star. His voice and cadence is so entrancing. Pefect.

It's a shame that Johnny had to see his preacher uncle represent God in a way that lead him away from God. Johnny is a beautiful person with a good heart. Maybe one day he'll realize these wonderful gifts came from God and he is truly blessed. ❣️

The interview happened at the time when he was still in a relationship with his ex-wife and living through hell. He said a few things about truths in the interview that made me think he might be referencing what he was experiencing with her. Truth never perishes.

Yes..we learned the hard way..wolf in sheep's clothing..Stayed silent so long that in the end he broke my back and almost my neck. Caused me digestive ISSUES and he left me on the street and told my Mom he was going to put me in jail if I DNT stop talking to the Elders then tell Attorney he treated me like a QUEEN, lier and abuser who played me 24 years. Still liers and manipulators. Not gonna change..haters are going to hate and liers will continue to be liers..what happens in the dark will come out to the light .

Johnny Depp brings so much to the table of life that we all feast from. And that comes in so many forms. I've been a kind of recluse most of my life, with the exception of my solo acoustic years long ago. When he talks about either being in the with the crowd or outside. I have been watching the inside from a safe distance, occasionally dipping a toe into the "In Crowd" waters, yet always remaining true to my own way of thinking, believing and doing. So i totally get that. I Love all of the films he's made , The characters he's portrayed that NO ONE else on this earth could have pulled off so brilliantly. His eccentricity draws me in every time! And he NEVER Disappoints. A Madd Soul with a heart of both passion and Compassion. I also Love watching and Hearing him play music. So I am a Forever Fan of every facet that this creative yet mysterious genius has brought into my Life. I cannot wait to see what he does next. Whatever it is, it will be loved and appreciated by so many. Watching this you can see the Humble, the Rebel, the adventurous, the " Be True to One's self nature and so much more. What a Beautiful human Being . When one is Unique like this, you can only be Humbled and in Awe at the same time. Such a killer sense of humor as well !! We have all faced hard times in this Life, And Johnny has been there to teach us that being "Different" is a beautiful thing. Even when he seems down, He gets back up and does the Amazing ! @@raffaelle462 yes, maybe she was or she is jealous with johny because she knows that she will never be the kind of person that he is, and maybe she hated that, but if she was smart enough she could've just accepted the divorce and if she wanted she could've asked JD to help her start business or something to make herself busy and earn from for her future other than being dependant to just making movies, but well that is just my thoughts,

Her evil lies are obvious even for us who was not a fan. Healtcarers like me just wish her to get therapy. But first she need to understand that it's nessesery. She must be motivated from inside herself, and be intelligent enough, and wanting to change. It's a big and longlasting job.

Some, like myself had a horrible childhood. You sir are more amazing than most people can even understand because you went on to be an fabulous entertainer making people happy all over the world. I studied to become a nurse.i have been a nurse Johnny for over 50 yr.

Johnny is just someone I'd wanna hang with & just talk. He reminds me of the me I haven't unleashed.

He is the only one actor in the universe and the soul mate of true human beings.💗

I feel he same way, soo well said. Hope your doing well in your journey. Complex ptsd is soo hard, I think that’s why I related to this so much too. A very inspirational talk, has given me an idea in a way to think it’s ok to go crazy so to speak and embrace the inner weird/artsy/odd but beautiful me. Hard to do but this interview brings me closer to this realisation/truth that this is the way we should be living. If Johnny had a book on his guide to living a truthful life- id buy it! 💗💗💗

I'm sure Johnny's creativity and own madness drives him insane and isn't easy to live in terms of living with himself plus the tinnitus too, if it's really bad; it's not easy, but dumping all that has come with AH and now the trial in VA, it's a wonder he doesn't truly lose his mind. I truly hope that Johnny will be happier or happy down the road and that he will finish his days in strength and knowing how loved he is, how it's impossible not to love him; his warmth is tangible.

I really understand him so deeply. He’s a highly sensitive empath and I am too. I also have tinnitus bad and it is terrible. Suffered the same abuse from my mother growing up. So many things I can relate to. Unfortunately I don’t carry the same genius he does thank God he has that. Truly hope he can recover. Find some peace in his final years. This has gone on far too long.

I’m praying that Johnny gets a touch from God, from the Lord Jesus himself! He can heal his tinnitus, his eye, his broken heart, and restore his finger to new! How do I know? Jesus healed my broken heart from a terrible betrayal. He healed my little girl’s finger when the whole first joint was cut off in an accident! She was about eight years old, in a school play rehearsal and sat on a spring theatre chair by putting her hand on the under part of the chair and sitting down! Her finger was cut off through the bone! She found the piece and held it in her other hand! Needless to say blood was everywhere! She was rushed to the emergency room; where they sewed the joint back on. When I saw the finger it was swollen to the size of her great toe and deathly white! I took her to church on Sunday, (two days later) and our Pastor anointed her with oil, and prayed the prayer of faith! On Monday, when they unwrapped the bandage, her finger was pink and the swelling was much better! Years later you cannot tell the difference between that index finger and the other one. For a while it was crooked. Plus she has all feeling and sensitivity in it! Praise God! God has healed me of chronic migraine headaches that were debilitating every month. My husband was healed without medication, from kidney failure, and other problems. This has been our way of life. Johnny only needs to know that God can heal him of all his suffering! I have come to love and appreciate him for the man he is and want to see him while and happy.

Johnny Depp is an amazing actor and he will have his dignity back and his career back!

Damn. Ive never seen Johnny interviewed about WHATS EATING GILBERT GRAPE. Such a powerful film 👍🏽 !!!

At 1:00 talking about how much his kids mean to him and then how 'he wants truth at whatever the cost'...this was exactly the reason he had to sue Amber (and rightfully so!). Johnny is such an amazing human and did not deserve to be treated like that. Thank goodness truth prevailed. ❤️

My son suffers from knowing he's different. He's now 33 years old. And he's struggled sense he was around the age of 13 knowing that he doesn't fit in to the standard world. He's brilliant! And Johnny is right, it's very painful. Blessings to Johnny for sharing his raw self in this interview. Regular people will never understand what he's trying to say. I understand. I watched my son thru this pain of knowing his reality is so different from 90 % of the population. Blessings to my son. If he reads this. I love you Michael ❤️

“Truth at whatever the cost” wild to think it cost him everything but the truth finally prevailed…

This was filmed march 2016… a year after the split. I think he came to connect the dots during that marriage by living through the life he already had and tried to help her because no matter what she did to him, including the mental distress she caused, he still genuinely loved her and could see by then that she had major issues that needed professional assistance and that he could help her by loving her. This prevented him leaving because she made him feel he had to fix her behaviour and she knew how to make him crash by pushing the pain buttons of his life when she wanted to do him the most psychological damage to keep him her captive by then saying she could fix them both. I love the guy n I am glad his name was officially cleared of being an abusive man and also recognised that he was abused by her and taken advantage of because of his benevolent nature
