I hate seeing the comments saying "Johnny is dragging it out and rambling too much" but this is the FIRST time he's been able to speak in years and also be able to express his feelings without amber cutting him off or changing the narrative. He's doing fantastic, and I'm so glad he's able to get this off his chest!! It must feel so relieving. What an amazing beautiful human being ❣️

I think too many people have watched legal dramas and forgot that people in real life are usually far less articulate than people in films/TV, especially when they're in a highly emotional state. Talking about what he experienced is obviously going to be emotionally difficult for Johnny to do, so of course he's going to sometimes ramble and stutter.

Exactly he needs to tell everyone everything that he went through. He's been silent so long and endured so much that if he rambles I really don't fckn mind. I want to hear it all and I know he won't ever read this but I hope he knows I care. And I will listen. No one should go through that. No one should live like that. After all is said and done I wish him peace and happiness. ♥️🥺

I feel like Johnny is speaking for a lot of us who’ve been in abusive relationships. It’s incredibly hard to reconcile the person you fell in love with now being the person who hurts you the most, and you desperately want to be able to fix things and undo what’s happened and maybe if you just try hard enough things will work out because failure means not only failing yourself and the person you once loved more than anything but having to be alone and you’ve become convinced that you can’t survive on your own.

You are right that consistency is a sign of honesty… but a professional actor certainly can stay in character and give long narratives etc. I think he is honest but as a lawyer his testimony doesn’t seem natural at all but very polished. Even the pauses and “ums” have rhythm and dramatic emphasis. Most people are extremely awkward. I don’t hold it against him but the reason everyone is falling all over themselves emphasizing with him is NOT the content of his testimony but the delivery. True Facts alone don’t elicit empathy.

Perhaps it was because after losing my wife…I was trying to give my children a family unit again….it was selfish of me and WE paid dearly for it. It’s taken me almost 3 years to find myself again,my smile,my confidence,my self worth and self love. Driving away from that home in a tiny car with as many of our belongings that we could fit in it was the most FREEING experience I’ve ever felt in my life! I pray for anyone in this type of relationship that God grant you the strength to just LEAVE! I haven't been able to watch this whole trial (although I was originally looking forward to it), it's so painful to watch and I get so angry for him, I need to take breaks just to listen to it. "Why did you stay with your abuser?" is always a question that comes up. It feels so dismissive especially when you did get out of it within a year. These people are *masters* at gaslighting you, proving to you that it's your fault. You think that would be hard to do, but once you're in it, you do not see it. You feel like you're not enough for the person and if you just stopped making mistakes, or were just perfect, the person wouldn't be volatile enough to break down, and then hurt you. Even Johnny says he stayed cause he thought he could help her; he blames himself on some level. The truth is, abusers hurt you to keep you afraid, in check, and available to feed their narcissistic supply. God I f*cking hate it when people ask that.

Johnny Depp Is The Most Beautiful, kindest, Gentle, Loving Soul. He Did so much for Children suffering from Cancer in Hospital while he was here in Australia filming Pirates. We Witnessed His Genuine Kindness. We Also Witnessed Herd Trying to Humiliate Johnny in front of the Media. Johnny When No Paparazzi were around went to Children's Hospital's to give Love and Kindness to these Beautiful Sick Children suffering. You in America only witnessed a little of what he did. Quietly he sat with these children and their parents trying to give Hope and Nothing but Love. If This Jury and Judge Can't see This then Corruption Is Present. Kindest Thoughts to all who support Johnny Depp from Australia x

You know, I’d never really listened to any of this case before just now. I’m in Australia, and so perhaps a little removed from it all. But I do remember Johnny coming here with her, to do promote his work. He’s a brilliant actor. They brought their two Yorkshire terriers, which was so odd. Our laws are very strict, to stop rabies etc. here. I remember seeing her sit stony faced next to him, whine he tried to explain. But I didn’t get the undertones of what was really happening… Until I listened to this video. It’s so plain to tell that Johnny Depp is deeply, profoundly effected by PTSD. She’s one super cold, harsh, nasty narcissistic woman! I now understand what he’s been through. I was in a very aggressive, abusive marriage for 12 years to a narcissistic man, the father of my two children. It is truly soul destroying. I pray 🙏🏻 Johnny wins this case, and she is exposed for what she is, and that they both get all the help and support they need.

He definitely has a stammer when he's triggered. He's been put through too much.... He is taking his time because he wants to sound eloquent and not stammer.... This poor man has been through too much. When thinking about his kids he realises what she put them through and what the witch put him through... Of course he's going to speak slowly. Give him chance to speak. ❤️❤️ I am doing a PhD on trauma and this man has suffered a lot.... He knows the stammer will come out so he is taking his time speaking. He needs his voice to be heard but he doesn't want to have to speak it. Poor Johnny, so brave. We stand by you

He's so calm and smart and kind, trying to talk about sensitive matters and real personal stuff. It's a shame he has to do that. We can only admire him more and I wish all this will be behind soon. She will face the consequences of her crazy behavior I hope. For now I just want to watch and re-watch his movies.

He explains it so eloquently. How he kept his mind through all this, clear and able to express reality is INCREDIBLE. It took me awhile to pick my brain up off the ground and know what had happened to me and how to explain it. Wow. Home run.

I’m watching this two weeks after the verdict and it still brings tears to my eyes. It also makes the things Elaine said on her post verdict press tour all the more ridiculous and down right appalling. I’m still waiting for a heartfelt apology from her to the jury and judge in particular but also everyone else who supported JD.
