YES! Great comment. I wish most studio sessions wouldve been taped. Reggae and Dub will be my love forever. There is no other sound like 60s, 70s and 80s Reggae and Dub. Nowadays is great too but its too polished. The Gritty sound from back then caused by that equipment makes it so much better. Plus, the greats that started it all.

I don't think Bunny 'striker' Lee had his own studio ..rhythms usually done CH 1, Harry J etc then voiced at tubs?
This is the Great Johnny Clarke but the Great Earl Zero wrote this tune...

If you look at the credits for Johnathon Richmond s 'Egyptian Reggae'...it's now co credited to Johnson (aka Earl Zero)...this take sounds like the slower era 'semi- dancehall rhythms Bunny Lee was using .eg Don Carlos 'plantation'

Not surprising. J Clarke did a massive amount of covers in addition to his own self penned work.
Im no rasta, but this was raw, I love this, the bible said Benjamin will be raven as a wolf, and Wst Indians are of the Tribe of Benjamin, and when they sing its like the howling of a wolf, none with open ears can ignore it, and this was cut in a bathroom, all praises to Ahiyah Asur Ahiyah(The only I am that I am)
just like the original recording............perfect
fantastic, thank you
Blessed footage of a KING!
