It does not get any better than this - Johnny and Ed were truly the best that we will ever see. I never missed a show from 1962 to 1992. I am not kidding. We were all fortunate that they entertained us !

I worked at a business across the street from Burbank Studios a couple years in the early 80’s. Several times a week Johnny would pull up beside me in his white corvette at the light to the entrance. Never met the gentleman but it got to the point where he would always wave when he saw me. A class act!

The entertainment given by the entire show was looked forward to every weekday night. The memories I have of watching with my dad as my mom kept saying it’s past my bedtime come flooding back.

Johnny could’ve been a cast member on Saturday Night Live. He was a pretty talented comic all those different characters and skits he did were hilarious.

You know Carl Sagan would have gotten a kick out of the vast explosion joke. because he and Johnny Carson were really good friends. and he was a guest on the Tonight Show a number of times. and he had such a great sense of humor and he was brilliant.
