Those kids did a wonderful job with this beautiful piece. It's always amazing and humbling to me as a American military veteran to be able to share in the respect for this history for and from around the world.

A hymn without verses but all that people want to hear and know about fallen soldiers expressed wonderfully.

The Master nailed it. Again.

God bless the fallen. I am a Vietnam vet who lost friends there. The loss is with me every day of my life. The love, the lives, the families who lost loved ones will haunt me the rest of my life. This song speaks to me.

Me too, am in tears here, & I never had to set foot in Nam. As an Air Force at Tachikawa, Japan 67-69, I met many wounded, & 7o-71 had the honor as Flight Nurse, to bring our guys home (Elmendorf Ak. to Dover AFB).. You & all Nam vets still & always have humongous place in my heart.

Brother, you're not by any stretch of the imagination alone in any of this. None of us are, though we're alone in our own thoughts about the price freedom requires. Ask the people playing this piece in that nation, what freedom means and its cost. They'll tell you, it means everything and its a high price. I've walked those beaches, been in many of those little villages and towns and the cities. They remember us. They really do.
