This pen is great as a welding marker or as a leather marker for boot making. I definitely can see the use of that.

@@Walterwhite_cooks Good question. I did carry this everyday for about a month, but it has since lost its place in my EDC. Main reason being I have no real place to store it. It’s way too long and pointy to comfortably go in my pockets, too heavy and the clip is too weak for it to stay clipped onto my hat or shirt. I did try carrying it with the glass breaker tip, but it ended up being left at home for the same reasons. Now it permanently stays in my truck. It’s a cool gadget, but unfortunately not very practical, at least for me.

@@iamalexsunthat’s fine everyone is comfortable with different things if you want I could recommend you the cold steel pocket shark which is a plastic edc for self defence it’s full plastic with a metal end which I carry a lot and is comfortable in the pocket check out if you want :)

The clip would make a lot more sense if it was lower on the pencil imo, I carry a zebra pen with a penetrator tip and that has absolutely made a hole in every pant I've carried it in without a slip, so yeah it's definitely a thing. If the clip was on the body of the pencil instead of the cap it'd be a lot better for sure, you could just adjust it for a shit pocket so it sticks out however much you need it to to not stab yourself, same for a side or back pocket on pants.

thoughts on flying with this?
