JOHN WICK (2014) MOVIE REACTION!! IT'S GETS NO BETTER THAN THIS!!

Whats up you guys!! Welcome or welcome back to my channel. Today I am watching one of the most action packed films in the 2000 era in my opinion. There are definitely a lot of great films out there but this movie is at the top of my list. I do recall this movie coming out in theaters but I rarely remember any of the events that took place so I felt as if this was my first time watching it again. As I watched John lose his wife and the only gift she left in remembrance of her get taken away, I was in thirst of revenge for him. The thirst for destruction and death John had would only be quenched by taking the lives of those who took from him.. You will see in my reaction how much I enjoyed this movie.

A good move on the writers of the movie, too. They could've easily went for the murdered/kidnapped wife story, that's been overdone for years and the audience has been jaded to. But instead, they mixed it up by taking away a sweet and innocent dog that we've come to love in her few minutes of screen time. It's a real risky move, but it paid off tremendously.

Jimmy had some subtlety to his performance. Notice he keeps his hat on at first, then removes it. Keeping it on was a signal of authority, that he was on the job if you will. When he removed it it was a way of showing John that he wasn't going to interfere, that is taking off his authority as a cop. Had he kept in on, that is kept his authority, things could have gone differently.

My dog Bart died in 2004. I didnt want another dog after him. He was my best buddy and I loved him. In 2016 my wife said she was getting another dog. I told her it was her dog and she would take care of it, I didnt want anything to do with it. The thought of getting close to another dog and having to bury him was more than I cared to go through again. We went and picked him up and brought him home. I tried not to get to close to him, but you can only hold out so long. Yes, I fell in love with him and am as close to Ozzy as I was Bart, and I know I'm going to go thru hell again one day, but a dogs love is unending and they're always happy when you come thru the door. Next to a human I'm convinced a dog loves more than any other creature on Earth. They're just special .

I would count Tom Cruise up there as one of Hollywood's most physically talented actors. While Tom isn't as proficient with guns as Keanu, the fact that he did so many of his own stunts deserves respect. Tom spent 10 hours a day for six days learning and practicing how to shoot pool for "The Color of Money," that Paul Newman himself said he could have gone professional if he wanted. He could hustle with the best in the game.

Two notes: the actor who played the son felt so bad about the scene with the dog dying, he played with all the time between scenes; the specifics of Keanu's training - 5 months, 8 hours a day, at least 5 days a week, jiu jitsu, gun training, driving, whatever he needed to do. Total respect. As he's gotten older for the sequels, his solution is to train harder.

20:00 - imagine if the police were called to the club after the shooting. Every corpse is a known or suspected member of the Russian Mafia, and nobody else was hurt. Figure there were a lot of officers wondering what happened, and others that told them to not ask questions they really didn't want to know the answers to

"It gets no better than this" is something that you are going to regret saying when you see the other two. The first one is, by far, the most restrained chapter. By Chapter 3, he's curb-stomping 7-foot tall dudes with a book, getting into axe-duels, and fighting ninjas on motorcycles with swords.

John asks Francis (Kevin Nash playing security guard outside the club) if he lost weight, and Francis says 27 Kilograms (subtitles say 60 lbs) but that's the number of guards inside. Hence in appreciation, the night off and why that scene with Kevin Nash was there. Also throughout the movie, you can count the number of shots John takes and reloads or switches to different gun and it's pretty accurate. Till the machine gun scene, it is exact! Meaning he has a six shooter, he shot 6 times, he reloads or switches to different gun. There is no magic 7th shot. Pretty awesome for a movie!

You know this movie and its sequels are good... when military and police experts have said the combat in this movie are very accurate and realistic. And also when special forces, SWAT officers, and military training have recruits watch this movie for proper techniques in CQC, weapons handling, and special tactics.

My favorite moment in this flick, believe it or not, was none of the kills, but that one instant when Vigo and John connected: V: "This life...follows you. It clings to you, infecting everyone who comes close to you. We are CURSED, you and I." J: "On that, we agree..."
